Krestena's Second Year: Book 2

Flying Car

Krestena's POV

"I'll be fine Uncle really, go to your interview Mr Weasley will be here soon" I tell Uncle Remus. It was September first and the Weasleys were picking me up with Harry. As Uncle Remus has a job interview and the Tonks family are on holiday in the Caribbean. I was all packed and left my trunk by the door with Snowy in her cage.

"Ok, just please stay inside until they arrive and then lock the door when you leave" he tells me. Then gives me a hug kissing my head. "I'll owl you tonight" he promises and then leaves. I sit on the windowsill which gives me a view of the drive-way. Ten minutes after Uncle Remus left the Weasleys arrive in Mr Weasley's Ford Angular. I write a quick note saying they had arrived and left. Fred and George helped me put my things in their pack trunk.

I then seat in between Mrs Weasley and Ginny in the front seat. Mr Weasley then drove us all to King Cross Station. But we were all running late so we got our trolleys and put our luggage on them. We then run to the barrier and went in pairs or groups. Harry, Ron and I are the last three to go. "Together?" Harry asks us and we nod our heads. He and Ron started running first with Harry in the lead & me behind them.

But instead of going through the barrier they banged into it. I stopped just in time or I would have run into them. A muggle employee asked what they were doing and Harry said they'd lost control of their trolleys. I walked up to the barrier and pressed my hand against, but it wouldn't go through. The clock chimed eleven "the train leaves exactly at eleven we missed it" I told them sliding down against the closed barrier.

"Want do we do now?" Ron asks looking between Harry and I.

"Maybe we should just go wait by the car" Harry suggests.

"The car" Ron states and an idea spikes in his head.

"No, na ah, not happening" I say standing up.

"Want? We have to get to school somehow" Ron tells me.

"So you want to drive all the way to Hogwarts?" I ask him.

"Not drive, fly" he states and starts heading for the exit with his trolley. Harry and I follow him, while I grumble the whole way. We got into the car with me in the back with the animal cages and the trunks in the trunk of the car. Ron then starts the car and we take to the sky.

"Ron I should tell you, most muggles aren't accustomed to seeing a flying car" Harry tells him.

"No shit Sherlock" I grumbled as Ron hits a button and the car turns invisible. "Want else can this thing do?" I ask.

"No idea" Ron states as he continues to fly it due north according to the compass on the dash-mat. We only know the school is North, not it's exact location. As we reach the hills the invisibility becomes faulty. Harry tells Ron to fly lower as we need to find the train.

We found the train tracks and Ron started following them by flying directly above them. Ron told Harry and I all we need to do now is find the train that we can't be far behind. When we hear the train and it turns out it was behind us. Ron does a massive turn to avoid it and we end up above the train after spinning. But Harry's door flew open and he fell out of the car hanging on for dear life.

"Ron don't you dare take your hands off that wheel" I tell him as he goes to help Harry. Once he put his hand back on the wheel I leaned forward. Sticking my hand out the window yelling "Harry take my hand!" I feel him trying to grab it, but his hands are all sweaty. "Hold on Harry!" I tell him and he finally gets a grip on my hand. I pulled him back into the car and he shuts the door locking it.

"I think we found the train" Harry states.

"Yeah, no shit Sherlock" I grumble. "Tell me again why we didn't just wait or send an owl?" I ask.

"Why didn't you suggest that before?" Ron asks annoyed.

"I tried to, but you wouldn't let me say a word. Just put my stuff in the car and pushed me into the back seat" I remind angrily. "Since you've found the train I'm going to sleep" I state.

(A few hours later at Hogwarts)

I woke up to us crashing into something to see it was evening. "Honestly I take a nap for a few hours and you crash into a tree" I exclaim. "Oh no, we have to get out of this tree right now" I tell them and try opening my door. But it was blocked by a branch.

"Why?" Harry and Ron ask then something heavy bangs on the hood of the car.

"That's why" I tell them and duck as a smaller branch flies through the back window. But it go my hair ripping some of it away. "Oww! My F*cking Hair! This is the last time we do one of your ideas Ronald Bilious Weasley" I yell holding the back of my hair. It felt sticky and black spots cloud my vision.

"Drive!" Harry yells at Ron who does as his told holding his broken wand. We managed to reach the ground and get out of reach of the hitting tree. Then we were ejected from the car by the car and I blacked out.

No One's POV

"Scabbers you alright?" Ron asks his rat and Harry was making sure Hedwig was ok. When they heard Snowy's frantic screeches and see Krestena unconscious. "What do we do Harry?" Ron asks Harry as he tires to wake Krestena. "The Car!" he exclaims when he sees it driving off into the forest.

"We have bigger things to worry about Ron" Harry tells him sternly. "Snowy's ok, but Krestena won't wake up" he states.

"Well well, want do we have here?" Snape asks as he approaches them with Filch who was holding Mrs Norris. "Filch take Mr Potter and Mr Weasley to my office then alert their head of house. While I take Miss Black to the hospital wing" he orders and waves his wand at the luggage. Which disappears to join the other students luggage.

In the end Harry and Ron received a weeks worth of the detention. Krestena was healed, but was staying in the hospital wing for over night observation. She didn't receive any punishment except for a letter being sent home to her uncle. Who was no doubt going to send her a long letter or come lecture her in person in the morning. While Harry and Ron went back to the common room. They answered a few questions before going up to bed.
