"Seems like we got a fight, wanna fight first, Champ?"Jay asked. Machamp thought for a bit, and after a few moments shook his head. "You sure? Okay then." Jay then grabbed a Pokeball "Alright, here we go, Manectric, go!" Jay yelled, sending out his Pokemon, a blue canine with a yellow mane and tufts of fur on its haunches and around it's feet. Akiko was shocked, she didn't know about this Pokemon at all. "J-Jay, what is that Pokemon?"
Jay laughed, and answered "Never seen a Manectric before? I caught one on Hoenn.
You probably don't know what type Manectric is, so I'll just tell you here, he's an electric type." Akiko grabbed Gengar's ball and tossed it, releasing the Shadow Pokemon.
"Use Shadow Ball!" She ordered, Gengar then charged up a Shadow Ball and prepared to launch the attack, but before it could, Manectric used Thunderbolt. "Awesome! Now use Iron Tail!" Jay shouted. "Gengar, use Psychic!" Gengar grinned, as his eyes glowed blue, and before Manectric could react he was mentally damaged, and thrown off to the side of the Mansion. It tried to stand up but it couldn't, Gengar then stared his opponent down in the eye, waiting Akiko's orders. "Use Shadow Ball!" She yelled, and Gengar then once again created a shadowy blob, and threw it at the Manectric, making it faint. "Good job, Manectric." He said "Now that Gengar's damaged, I can take him out with ease, Go, Gardevoir!" Akiko watched in fear as she saw a female-like Pokemon, with green hair, and arms, it looked like it wore a dress. "What...h-how... do we beat that?!" Akiko asked, with Jay merely smirking "She's a Gardevoir, quite a beauty isn't she? With her here, I'll beat your Gengar!" He said. The Gardevoir smiled at her opponents and then looked at her trainer, Jay. Then she stared at Gengar. 'Gengar, I suggest you retreat, you cannot defeat me.' Gardevoir said mentally, and Gengar was fuming mad at this message. "Say what?! You think you're strong, huh? Well, you're wrong! I'll show you the power of Kanto's most feared Pokemon!"
Gardevoir replied, 'Just because you're Kanto's most feared Pokemon doesn't make you invincible. I will make sure you learn that after our battle, prepare yourself!' She then raised her arm and performed a Psychic attack, Gengar was shocked at how painful it was as he was tossed off straight into the Mansion, scaring away some Growlithe and Koffing. After a few minutes, Gengar came out furious, and then he grinned menacingly.
"That all you got, Princess?!" He exclaimed. Gardevoir closed her eyes in an annoyed fashion. 'You still don't get it, do you?' She spoke. 'The moment that attack struck you, you were damaged twice as much. If this keeps up, you will lose.' Gengar smiled. "I now know you're a Psychic type, and with that knowledge you will be beaten, hehehe!" Akiko then spoke up, "Use Ice Beam!" thinking Gardevoir was a grass type. But Gengar ignored and used Shadow Ball, whilst Gardevoir used Psychic again, but this time by accident, she struck a Ratticate instead, it didn't faint but it was hurt. Gardevoir,then looked at Gengar and was struck by a Shadow Ball, causing a lot of damage, and she fell to her knees. 'What just happened?!' She exclaimed mentally, as Jay rushed to her aid, with a Hyper Potion."I used a Ghost Type move on you, idiot!" replied the Poison/Ghost Type.
It then prepared what looked like another Psychic attack as Akiko watched in awe...
