MY feet swing over the edge of the apartment complex.
i watch the cars drive by
the people walk by
the dogs running around joyfully.
i watch the robbers break in
i watch the car accidents that kill innocent people
i watch the drug handoffs.
i shudder as i think off everything happening in my own crowded apartment
i hear the door squeak before a mousy voice rings out,
"you're destined to fall."A/N
