I can feel the girl's hard gaze.
"why am i destined to fall?"
"because, you're so close to the edge. so close to the brink of death."
"what if i wanna be dead?"
"then jump."
i question whether to jump or not.
it'd be so simple to just jump and end it all.
i've been watching the city from up high for so long
then i'd be a part of the city.
my blood would stain the sidewalk where people are walking.
so, i ask, why not?
"you shouldn't because it's a helluva long fall." a different voice rings out.
