Naira couldn't believe her eyes. She closed her eyes and opened them again but she was still here standing in front of Singhania Sadan. The people who she once called family were standing at the door.
"Nahi yeh saach nahi hai, yeh sirf ek burra sapna hai", she muttered to herself
"Koyi sapna nahi hai. Yeh saach hai", whispered Karthik into her ear.
"Tum ghar agayi ho Naira", said Karthik softly. 'Naira', the name resurrected lot of memories, she was yearning to be called by this name, as much as she loved her name, it bought back the memories of her family, the family who hadn't trusted her and were willing to send her to jail.
She didn't want to be here, she didn't want to do anything with the Singhanias or Maheshwaris. She didn't know how Karthik had gotten to know about them and she didn't want any explanations either. All she wanted to do is get out from here, opening the car door of the driver's seat she was about to get in, when a familiar hand held her back.
"Naira listen to them once, please", Karthik told her
"I don't want to, I want to go home", Naira replied
"This is your home", Karthik responded
"This was my home, it isn't anymore, or maybe it never was. I don't know, all I do know I don't want any of them to do anything with my life.", she retorted
"They are your family", Karthik tried to explain her
"NO", she yelled
"They aren't my family. You, our baby, dad, maa, kirti di, you all are my family.", continued Naira in a calmer tone
Karthik glanced at the family members who were standing at the door, waiting for them and then looked back at his wife. He had known her for 10 years and knew very well how stubborn she was. Knowing that she wouldn't give in so easily. He placed his one hand behind her back and the other under her knees, lifting her up in his arms.
"Karthik, let me go", she said hitting his chest, with her delicate arms as he walked up the stairs with to the door step, with her in his arms.
The family looked at the two for a moment wondering what to do.
"Aap apni poti ki aarti utaar sakti hai, apko kissi ki permission ki zarrorat nahi hai", Karthik tells bhabhima who was standing with an aarti ki thaal in her hand, after a little hesitation bhabhi ma performed the aarti, and everyone got into the house. Karthik made Naira to sit on the sofa and soon as he put her down, she stood on her feet and was ready to leave the place.
"Princess", called out Naitik. Naira's eyes filled with tears hearing the name but she controlled her emotions.
"Naira beta, Itni naraz ho kyun tum. Aisi kya galti huyi hai humse", asked Akshara
"Aap se kya galti ho sakti hai Mrs Akshara Naitik Singhania, aap toh kuch galat kar hi nahi sakti, purri duniya galat ho sakti hai sivaye aap ke. Aap toh insaf ki devi hai. Jo dusron ki nazar mein mahan rehne ke liye apni khud ki beti ki baali chada sakti hai", Naira replied sarcastically.
"Princess why are you speaking like this", asked Naitik
"Main kaise bhul gayi, yahan khade rahe kar mein inn se, kaise kuch keh sakti hun. Yahan toh sab un ke bhakt hai. Jo woh kehti hai, wohi yeh sab maan te hai.", spoke Naira.
"Naira tu maa ke barien mein kiss tarhe baath kar rahi hai", asked Naksh
"Ab awazien uth rahi hai, yeh awaz tab kyun nahi uthi jab inho ne mujhe jail bhejne ki baath ki thi", Naira retorted back.
"Don't worry aap log purri zindagi inki pooja kar sakte hai, lekin mein yahan nahi rehne wali", stated Naira
"Ghar chalte hai", she said looking at the Goenkas and Karthik
"Jaan yeh tumhara hi ghar hai", replied Karthik
"Angel, ek baar apni mummy papa, sunn toh lo", said Manish
"Bacha bas ek baar, mujhe nahi lagta iss duniya ki koyi maa hogi jo apne bache par bharosa nahi karti, ho sakta hai tumhe inhe samajhne mein galti ho gayi ho", Suvarna told Naira
Tears fell down of Naira's eyes and everyone got upset looking at her like that
"Ab aap khush hai, meri iss family ko bhi aap ne mujh se cheen liya. Yeh log bhi aap ke gunn ganne lagge hai. Kyun,please, please,nahi chati mein apki interference apni life mein. Akele chod dijiye mujhe aur apke sayye ko bhi meri family se dur rakhiye", Naira spoke to Akshara angrily
"Naira mere liye yahan ruk jao, at least delivery tak, just 7 months. I want to be with you every moment of this phase. Aur agar Rishikesh mein hogi toh sirf weekends pe mein milne asakta hun. Meri khatir ruk jao", Karthik said, knowing that Naira wouldn't deny him this. Naira nodded positively after a while.
"Tum ne kaha tum PG rehte ho ne, toh chalo wahan chalte hai, jahan tum rehte ho unn logon se bhi permission leni hogi", said Naira
"Apne nanihal mein rehne ke liye koyi permission leta hai", asked Shaurya while Naira looked confused
"Naira, Karthik tumhare papa ke office mein kaam karta hai aur woh tumhare nanihal mein PG hai", replied Kirti seeing her confused expression.
"Karthik beta humein lagga, tum aur Naira yahan rahoge, iss liye Rajshriji ke ghar se tumhara sarra saman le aye", Devyani spoke.
"Yehi rukk jao ne beta", asked bhabhi ma
"Okay lekin meri sharth hai", said Karthik after thinking for a while
"Tum jo kaho", replied Raj Shekar
"Toh thik hai apko mujh se rent lena hoga", Karthik told them
"Yeh kaisi baath huyi, iss ghar ke jamai ho tum, kaise le sakte hai. Pagalon jaisi batein mat karo", bhabhi ma reprimanded him
"Jiss din Naira iss ghar ko apna mayka maan legi, uss din mein purri tarhe se iss ghar ka Jamai ban jaunga and I promise uss din se rent nahi dunga", he replied in an almost whispering tone.
"Naira", Karthik said looking at her silently asking for her approval of staying here and she blinked her eyes lightly in a positive response.
"Angel, take care of yourself. Hum tum se milne aate rahenge", said Manish kissing her forehead
"Khud ka, karthik ka, aur mere honne wale poti ya pota ka sab ka khyal rakhna. Aur sarri divaiyan time par lena, waise mujhe mere kanha par pura bharosa hai, woh apni jaan ka khyal bahut aachi tarhe se rakhega.", said Suvarna lovingly
"Aap log kahan ja rahe hai", asked Akshara
"Hum ne pass ke ek hotel mein booking ki hai aunty wahan hi ja rahe hai. Hum ne socha kuch waqt Udaipur mein hi rahe lenge aur phir Delhi wapas chale jayenge", replied Kirti
"Aap sab se ek request hai", stated Akshara
"Ji boliye, Aksharaji, kya hua", asked Suvarna
"Aap log yehi kyun nahi therte. Naira ke liye aap sab uss ke parivar ka hissa hai. Aap logon ke saath zyada comfortable rehe gi", said Akshara
"Hum aap ko taqleef nahi de sakte, hum hotel mein rahenge aur roz milne ayenge Naira se", replied Suvarna
"Iss mein taqleef ki koyi baath nahi hai, aap please yehi rukkiye", said Devyani
"Maa, dad, di, rukk jaye. Main akele gair logon ke beech nahi rehna chati, Karthik adha din office mein rahega. Mere liye rukk jaye", said Naira and they finally agreed.
