anwar looked at you sadly before his eyes trailed down to his shoes. he could barely believe what you were saying, he had never thought that the words would come out of your mouth. he had became complacent towards you, expecting you to be there for him all the time when he wasn't the same way with you. he expected you, his girlfriend, to watch while he flirted with other girls in front of his friends because it didn't actually mean anything.
"but, i love you."
anwar said slowly, that was the end all for him. that no matter what one of you did, you would always love each other. you knew that love wasn't always enough though and you didn't want to be treated like you didn't matter.
