Nineteen years later Abel stared out into the ocean, thinking about the the future as he would be titled the new leader of the tribe within less than a week. When the night came he returned home to his hut to find his mother sitting and talking to a close friend of the family and the wisest member of the tribe. Abel greeted both, "Hello mother, hello Saki."

"Hello Abel, I was just speaking with your mother about your new title as king," Saki responded calmly.

"Yes Abel, there are many things you will need to know before you become king," said his mother

Abel sighed "like what?"

"As the new leader you will need your people to respect you and trust you," Saki replied

Abel frowned and went to go take a seat, he was silent for a while but then he spoke, "What if they won't respect...what if no one listens to me?"

His mother stood and began to slowly approach him, she stated sympathetically "Darling of course they will respect you, they have to you we're chosen to be their leader."

Abel glared at Saki then back at his mother he spoke once more "I hope you're right." He stood up and left the hut, he walked through the village to check how the tribe villagers were doing. As Abel casually walked through the village he began to think back to his childhood, back to when he had no responsibilities. But he soon snapped back to reality and approached a hut that housed a young couple and their two children. The children ran over and showered him with hugs.

"How are you all." Abel asked

"We are doing well. We missed you Abel," said one of the children

"Well I'm glad to see you both." Abel replied to the children

"Why don't you children go outside and play for a while," said the mother

The children ran outside quickly laughing and giggling while their mother followed behind. The father remained inside and began to speak to Abel.

"How is your mother these days?" he asked.

"She is doing what she can for her health but she doesn't really go outside much."

"Well I hope to see her well again," said the man.

"She doesn't mind company you know," said Abel.

The mother and children ran back into the hut, all were panting and out of breath, the children began to speak frantically. "Dad, something has happened to our turtle. He is not moving."

Abel walked over to get a better look at the turtle to try and determine what was the problem. "What happened."

The mother hesitantly spoke "This isn't the first time this has happened, many of the animals have been dying here and a few of the villagers have become sickly."

Abel looked down at the turtle in complete confusion. "I'm sorry but I have to go, I will see you all later." he said
