Abel left the hut and walked once more through the village until he reach Saki's home. He walked inside but Saki wasn't there so he waited for a while and five minutes later Saki approached his home and greeted Abel. "Abel! How are you?"
Abel quickly replied, "Saki, I need to talk to you immediately."
"What is it boy," Saki replied
"Something is going on in the village animals are dying and the people are getting sick." said Abel.
"Strange, give me a day and I will know what this problem is." said Saki
The next day Abel returned to Saki's home early morning. Abel asked if he had found out what is affecting the tribe. Saki told him that the ocean water that kept their people alive was poisoned and too dangerous to consume. Saki explained to Abel that the water was being poisoned by the tribe that lived on the other side of the ocean, which was also known to be the rival tribe. He told Abel that he must travel across the ocean to stop them from damaging the waters. Abel initially said that he can't leave his mother alone because she is very ill and his people will not be happy that he is leaving the village.
Saki told Abel that he will stay in the village to maintain peace and order among the people. He also promised to help Abel successfully prepare for his journey across the ocean. He gave him a map and compass to guide him safely to his destination. He also warned him that the people on the other side of the ocean were not very friendly to outsiders and known to be savages. Over the next few days Abel prepared to take off on his journey, he was slightly nervous because he has never been outside of his village before. Saki gave Abel a bird named Lloyd to keep him company on his journey and he told him that he may find the companion to be useful later in his journey. Abel called out to the bird and it flied over and landed on his hand. Before he finally left for his journey he thanked Saki for his help and said goodbye to his mother, then he set sail for a long journey across the sea.
