It was 5th grade, I was Bestfriends with the boy. His name was Caleb, he had blue eyes blonde hair and a cute nose. He was my crush, but of course he didn't know that...until he asked me to the 5th grade Paris France theme dance on April 8th. I was so exited, me and him we're officially together. We we're the most popular couple there, but that was only 5th grade who knew if this crush would last forever. (The dance night)After me and Caleb danced this girl named Britt asked Caleb to dance. I got a upset when he said yes. I didn't expect forever though so, I couldn't be that mad. After they finished dancing a slow dance came on, Caleb pulled me aside and we danced, Britt came over pulling me away from him as she took my place. Caleb didn't move her or anything he just put his hands on her waist as she giggled. I started to feel betrayed as he danced with her, I was upset and started to cry silently so no one would notice as I'm still standing in front of the 2. I was upset I walked out of the dance and plummeted right on the ground outside the dance room/gym. I cried until the song was over, I walked back in staring at him as my mascara was running down my face. He ran to me giving me hug, he whispered in my ear "we are only kids. Don't get to upset now." I pushed him away as I screamed. "I LOVE YOU THOUGH" everyone heard me, my face was red and I ran out the gym. The teachers we're confused as they pulled him aside asking what happen. After that I didn't go to school for a week, he always came by my door asking my mom if I was home. I always told her to say no. I soon was back at school and everything was forgotten about, but Caleb still tried to talk to me every time I pushed him away more and more. I was only a kid and had mixed feelings so at the time I hated him. Soon I really couldn't help but at least be his bestfriend so we fixed things and continued being his bestfriend.
