ROAD TO NOWHERE

Chapter 19

Tim and Avi had a very nice lunch with the elderly couple. They moved to a patio table out on the deck of the little restaurant overlooking the ocean.

They talked for over an hour. The couple was so easy to talk to. Tim and Avi bared their soul to them. They did not judge Tim for his past profession and gave Avi kind words of support for his failed marriage.

They parted with hugs and wishing each other the best.

Later, Tim and Avi walk along the beach holding hands. Just enjoying the view.

"It's been a great morning, in a way." Avi says, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, sad in a way but also good at the same time." Tim says.

"Tim? What are your plans for the future?" Avi asks as they stroll along.

"I don't know." Tim says quietly. "Right now, I'm just living one day at a time."

"Do you see me in your future?" Avi asks, looking up into Tim's eyes.

"Ummm, possibility." Tim shrugs with a smile on his face. "You kinda grow on somebody."

"You love me don't you." Avi says with a smile as he moves in front of Tim, sliding his arms around the taller man's waist.

"I don't know." Tim says and Avi's smile falters. "Now, wait a minute, before you get all sad. I told you that I've never been in love before. I can't even tell you what it feels like."

"But last night, I could tell that it wasn't role-playing. You made love to me last night." Avi says.

"Was it love? It was absolutely amazing. But I'm sure there is more to love than great sex." Tim says. "I wish I could explain it better. I'm not meaning to hurt your feelings, Avi. I would never want to do that. Is this love that I'm feeling for you? I don't know."

"So, you're admitting that you do have feelings for me?" Avi asks.

"Yes, I do. But since I have never been in love, I can't be sure if it's love. Understand?" Tim asks. "I know you don't understand because you've been in love."

"Pfff." Avi huffs. "And what a waste that was."

"Just, give me time to sort things out. To really understand what I'm feeling." Tim says as he gently caresses Avi's cheek.

"Okay. But, I honestly think that you're in love with me. You just don't realize it yet." Avi says with a smile.

"That's totally possible." Tim smiles.

"Alright, I'm not going to push you into saying that you love me. I want it to come from the heart and not because you think you're supposed to say it. But I'm not giving up on you either." Avi says. "I just want you to know one thing. And that is, I have definitely fallen in love with you."

"Are you sure that you want to love someone like me?" Tim asks softly, tilting his head.

"Hell, Yeah." Avi chuckles.

"Babe, I don't even have a job." Tim smiles.

"So, neither do I. But we've made it this far. Tim, we've made more money singing on a street corner for thirty minutes than a lot of people make in a whole week." Avi says, rubbing Tim's bearded jaw. "We can do this."

"It's definitely been exciting." Tim smiles.

"We're free. We can do anything we want." Avi grins.

"Okay, then? What do you want to do?" Tim asks as he straightens Avi's snapback and kisses him softly.

"Hmm." Avi hums into the kiss and pulls Tim closer.

"Besides that." Tim chuckles as he breaks the kiss.

"If we can't make love then let's go snorkeling." Avi smiles.

"Maybe the making love part can come later?" Tim asks, raising a brow.

"Sounds like an awesome plan, Mr. Foust." Avi smirks.

After spending the day snorkeling, parasailing and visiting a zoo, they were ready to head back to their hotel room.

Tim walks into the room and falls starfish, face first onto the bed.

"I'm exhausted." He groans.

"But, what about the love making part?" Avi whines as he crawls on top of him.

"Do I have to move?" Tim moans.

"It might make it a little more exciting if you participated." Avi giggles as he begins to nibble on Tim's neck.

"Hmm." Tim hums with a smile on his face. "That feels good."

"I can make you feel even better." Avi whispers as he slides his hands underneath the back of Tim's tee shirt.

Tim lets go of a soft moan as Avi begins to rub his tired back.

"Is that relaxing?" Avi asks softly.

"Mhmm." Tim answers as his eyes slowly closed.

"Is it putting you to sleep?" Avi chuckles quietly.

"Mhmm." Tim answers before drifting off.

"Timmy?" Avi calls softly.

There was no answer from the exhausted man.

"Good night, sweet Prince." Avi whispers as he kisses Tim's cheek and then cuddles beside him. "You owe me one."

The next morning, Avi awoke to the feeling of someone caressing his cheek. He slowly opens his eyes to his Tim propped up on his elbow, smiling down at him.

"Sorry about last night." Tim smiles.

"That's alright. I think I was way more exhausted than I thought, too." Avi chuckles.

"I was fixing to take a shower. Wanna join me?" Tim asks with a raised brow.

"I would love to. What're the plans for today?" Avi asks as Tim rolls out of bed.

"Washing clothes." Tim laughs. "Then getting back on the road."

"Seriously?" Avi asks, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"Well, we're almost out of clean clothes. So that's a must. Then I thought we'd head  to maybe Gulf Shores and eventually to Biloxi." Tim says as he rummages through their suitcases for clean clothes.

"Oooo, can we stop at one of the casinos in Biloxi?" Avi says with a smile.

"Sure, as long as we don't blow all of our money." Tim laughs and reaches for Avi's hand.

The shower time was filled with intense love making, caressing and just enjoying and exploring the other's body as they washed each other.

"Am I forgiven for crashing out on you last night?" Tim asks as he wraps a towel around his lover.

"That was well worth the wait." Avi smiles as he kisses the tip of Tim's nose.

"Now, let's go have some real fun down in the laundromat." Tim smirks.

"YAY!! I can't wait!!" Avi laughs.
