We strolled into the airport, and headed straight to the ticket station for American Airlines, booked the ticket and then just walked right out. Straight as ever.

"Fuck this" Danny growled. "It's shit getting cabs everywhere" he pulled out a cigarette, lit it and pressed it to his lips. "Go hire a car James" he motioned his head to the car hiring place behind him.

"Why me?" James rolled his eyes like a child. "How much is it anyway?" he asked.

"Hmm..let me just whipe out the magical list of prices for everything in the fucking world" Danny laughed.

"You on your rag or something Danielle?" James smirked. Danny puffed smoke in his face and pushed him towards the rental place.

"You coming Shaney?" James asked, no emotion whatsoever.

"Nah I'm good" I said.

"Come on!" James commanded. I let out a growl to myself and followed him.

"Why do you want me to come with you?" I said bitterly. "It's not a two person job you know"

He ignored me. "So what was up with you last night?" he asked.

I bowed my head a shrugged. "Nothing" I lied. "I don't remember a thing.." I did.

"Not how you were crying in the bathroom?" he whispered slyly. "Stop lying Shaney" he shook his head in disapproval.

"What am I supposed to say James? You know whats wrong, you know why I was crying. What you want me to actually lie?" I spat. "Look"  I sighed, feeling guilty for the way I was acting "I just get nightmares okay? Like whenever I close my eyes, and they never go away."

"I knew you always had nightmares" he admitted. "I didn't think they carried on till now" he bowed his head, then pushed open the door to the rental place.

"Yeah well they've stayed with me" I let out a nervous laugh. "Same old"

He nodded, studied my face for a moment-shock ran through his face. "You have like-like scars on your face you know?" he gulped.

Shit.

They're only small, but you can notice them when you really stare at me, and the worst part is, my makeup must of rubbed off, leaving them really notciable!

"They've always been there james" I pointed out. "I thought you would of remembered that, you know, since you were ever so close with me!" I hissed.

He stepped back and closed his eyes as if he was ready to yell. He turned around to go to the counter and talked to the guy who worked there.

I walked out of the store and went and joined the other guys.

I ran up to Ben. "Really, really fucked up question" I began. "Actually, this is for all of you-do I have small little scars on my face like anywhere on my face?" I asked, my heart was beating rapidly, I never liked talking about my scars outloud or even pointing them out, but I wanted to prove something, I'm not quite sure what.

Danny choked as he inhaled, like I shouldn't of asked him that question. Ben bowed his head as if he were hiding. Sam turned to Cam and pretended they were continuing their conversation.

"Look its okay, I know I have, I just wanted to see if you guys noticed them thats all.." I gulped.

"Um, we actually didn't" Ben hesitated. "Until now anyway, we didn't really see them why?" He asked.

"Oh nothing, just paranoia" I lied. My self esteem was boosted slightly and I felt a rush of happiness and relief wash me out. James came running out with car keys and handed them to Sam.
