Chapter Thirteen - Welcome

I pulled back, mesmerized by his lips. 

"J-James I-I" I stumbled.

"I've wanted to do that for a really long time now Shaney!" he smiled. He closed his eyes and leaned in once more. I pulled away.

"No James-y-you can't" I stuttered. "It's not fair" 

"What? What is it Shaney?" he crouched a little, his hands holding my waist, he was lowered down so he could look up at me slightly. 

"James, I'm not ready for a relationship, and to top it off, i'm not ready for you to come on to me like that jesus, I mean afterall I did see you ball deep in a girl last night" I bowed my head. My eyes began to fill up. "Why are you doing this to me?"

"Shaney, I thought I was doing the right thing? Fixing us?"

"Kissing me isn't going to fix it James" I laughed weakily. "You need to express it, through your words, your attitude, I'm trying, you should too" I nodded to him. He embraced my cheeks with his hands and wiped my tears with his thumbs. 

"I'm so fucking sorry" he sighed. He pulled me into a tight hug. "I'm such a fucking dick to you Shaney, and you really don't deserve it"

I buried my head into his chest. "It's fine"

He pulled back and lifted my head up with his fingers. "From now on, I will make the effort, from this day onward" he smiled. "Hey, I guess I'm your first kiss" he smiled.

One word was circling around in my mind right now. 

Fuck.

I couldn't tell him, how could I? 'um hey james I made kind of a dick move last night yeah um me and ben kissed' no I couldn't say that. I couldn't tell him. So I left it. 

"Yeah-I guess" I gave him a weak smile. "Um I guess that's all.."

"Okay well-after you Shaney" he opened the door and helped me out. 

-Ben Bruce POV-

I made a deep breath. "I fucking like her!" I exclaimed.

"Who?" Danny laughed taking out a cigarette and holding it to his lips.

"Shane!" I gasped. Before he could even light his cigarette it dropped out of his mouth. He grabbed my vest and dragged me to the back of the bus so no one could hear us.

"Please tell me you're fucking joking?" he raised his eyebrow. "Shaney?" 

I nodded. "I know I know, I'm gonna end up hurting her, fuck!" I punched the back of the bus and held my head in my hands. 

"Shit Ben" he said. "You gonna tell her?"

I shook my head. "She probably always knows!" i held back my head and walked around in a small circle with my hands on the back of my neck. "I kissed her last night you know" I shook my head.

"You're a dickhead." Danny shook his head too. "What the hell did you do that for?" he shouted.

"I don't know! It felt right!" My eyes widened. "OH MY GOD I'M HER FIRST KISS AS WELL!" 

Danny put his head in his hands. "You know sometimes Ben you really don't half make some really dick moves." He made a deep breath and put his hands on my shoulders.

"It's going to be fine, just..just control yourself man, get some chicks tonight at the gig and forget about it okay?"

"I can't do that Danny, I can't, I can't even bring myself to I-"

"Ben you've known her for merely a week, just try it for god sake!" he snapped.

I guess I was going to have to take Danny's advice. But I can't let Shaney see-or hear or even know, jesus christ I already feel unfaithful and I'm not even with her!

-Danny Worsnop POV-

I couldn't believe what Ben was telling me. Okay I liked Shaney but not enough to be head over heels, she was gorgeous no doubt about that but I didn't want to fall for her, because I knew i'd hurt her, I didn't want that. Keeping my distance was good enough. 

I told Ben to go with some other girls tonight at the party, not because I wanted Shaney but because I wanted him to be happy, I didn't want him or Shaney hurt. Yes believe it or not I am actually responsible. 

I grabbed another cigarette out of the pack from my back pocket and lit it, inhaling deeply and leaning against the back of the bus. 

"It's gonna be fine Ben" I puffed. "Chill out"

I pushed myself from the bus and walked back to the door. Ben followed. I pulled out my phone and hitted up twitter.

@TheDannyWorsnop: I really need to get me, and my friends fucked tonight. 

I leaned on the side of the bus this time. Ben had gone inside. Our stuff was getting unloaded from the bus, well just finished getting unloaded. Soundcheck time soon.

Sam came out of the bus. 

"Sup with you?" I asked taking a puff and flicking the ash to the ground. 

"What's going on with Ben?"he pointed to the buss door.

"Don't ask-alls I'm saying is tonight we're getting him laid!" I puffed the cigarette then threw it to the ground. "And I'm getting you laid too!
