The empress of war (Lu Xun x Reader x Guo Jia)

Prologue

~Six years ago~

In the middle of the morning, a young girl was wandering alone in the province of Luoyang. Her face was emotionless and her little body was shaking.

'Why all this is happening to me?' she wondered as she keeps walking on that way. Without any family nor place to return, the girl was trying to find a sense to her life now but she just cannot find anything she can do. Without her dad giving her orders around, she felt lost and out of herself; she started to cry after remember her father's face. Why? Why is this happen?

She keeps walking until a ravine cut her way. The girl stopped to look at the ravine bottom; it was really high and countless of sharp rocks were there. She stared at the fall a moment as if she was thinking about jumping or no; but then she remembers her current situation. Without her father at her side is like if she's already dead so the girl finally decided to end her life there.

Was her choice right? That will help her get rid of the void she feel right now? She wasn't sure but maybe that was the only chose she have now. She stepped more close to the ravine edge and finally let her body fall. She closes her eyes waiting her dead while tears start to come out.

'I'm really sorry father, but this is the end. I hope one day I'll be able to see you again...'

~time skip~

The girl opens her eyes only to find herself in a strange room. Her body was full of bandages and her head hurt a lot. She slowly managed to get up to sit there staring at her surroundings until her gaze meet a person silhouette.

—So you finally wake, little miss. You slept for around three days. May I know why you tried to kill yourself? And, who are you? — He asked with a suspicious gaze but the girl seems confused by his words.

—Who am I? I can't remember it clearly. Did I really try to kill myself? — She asked. The old man only sighed at her words.

—That's not something a girl so young like you may do. You still have a long live in front of you so I don't see the point to kill yourself —she apologized but that only make the old man laugh — no need to apologize, if you do that because you don't have a place to stay, why didn't you stay here with me?—

—But I don't want to trouble you...—

—Don't worry about that. Usually, I don't help the people but I will make an exception for you...— He smiled at her — By the way, I'm Zuo Ci and you?... oh right, you can't remember... Do you mind if I call you (y/n)?—

—(y/n)? It's a pretty name... thank you, Zuo Ci—

~Meanwhile~

—Did you manage to find her? Guo Jia—

—My apologies, Lord Cao Cao but she's nowhere to be found. Maybe She have already leave Wei's territory or in the case, she is already dead just like prince Cao Pi said— the blonde strategist reported bowing in front of the warlord. Since a week ago, the warlord has ordered him and the other officers to search around Wei territory trying to find her, his beloved daughter, Cao Jie.

—Cao Jie, where are you? — Cao Cao muttered for himself trying to ignore the possibility that she is dead. Guo Jia never sees his lord so desperate about anything but now, he was so desperate to find his daughter; that only prove how much he cares for her. Why do the things turned like this? It started weeks ago when Lord Cao Pi's wife came to live in the palace but it wasn't after days before that Cao Pi find out about her sister situation.

That day was like another day. Guo Jia was in his room making strategies like always when suddenly the prince came with a worried face.
