Chap: 4

Emma's POV

I opened the bathroom door, only to see Lei with the biggest smile. I furrowed my eyebrows, "What?"

"You missed him, I think I'm dying." She said grabbing my chest to be dramatic.

"Him? As in who?" I questioned wanting to know more about "Him."

"I don't know his name, but he's with your boyfriend." She pointed at the door.

"Let's go see who's put you in a joyful mood." I said walking to the door.

"Can't." She sighed.

"Now, just why not?" I put my hands on my hips.

"Raining." She pushed the door open, and sure enough it was raining.

"Come on." I gave her my pouty puppy face.

"Not ruining my hair." She pointed to her head. I took my hoodie off, and tossed it her way.

"Now?" I questioned. She slipped it on, and rolled her eyes.

"You're doing my hair tomorrow." She pointed her finger at me.

"Cool." I shot back, and ran outside, dancing in the rain. I noticed she was still inside.

"Coming?" I shouted over the rain. She slouched and frowned.

"You can stay, if you'd like." I pointed out. She smiled and shook her head.

"Okay, I'm going to go see how they're doing." I pointed to the almost empty parking lot. She nodded closing the door. I walked towards the car, seeing Cody and "Him" waiting. I shivered, should of got my hoodie back. Oh well, I thought, to late now anyways. I guess at that time Cody and "Him," noticed me shivering. Cody ran over to me, and asked, "What are you doing out here, especially without a jacket?" I just shrugged.

"I don't really know what I'm doing." I sighed shivering.

"Here." He started taking off his hoodie. I probably would have drooled any other time, but I was more worried about him.

"No," I started, "I'll be okay." I said with chattering teeth.

"Your lips are turning blue, you're freezing." He sounded worried.

"If you insist." I cracked a smile, grateful for his hoodie. He slipped it off, and I tried to take it. He slapped my hands away, I giggled. "Let me." He smiled. I dropped my head and blushed, and that's the moment I realized he was wearing a soaked white shirt. Could it get any worse? "Raise your arms." He commanded. I raised my arms, and he slid his hoodie on me. It was a bit big, but mostly fit. I smiled.

"You look adorable." He said cutely. He pulled his phone out, and pulled me closer, taking a selfie of us. 

"No!" I squealed. "I look bad!"

"No, you look quite beautiful." He chuckled.

"Hate to ruin the moment guys, but the car is unlocked." "Him" said.

"YAY!" I screamed.

"Could you go get the other girl Alex?" Cody asked. So that's "Him's" name. Alex and Leila. Sounds good.

"Sure man, see ya Olive Garden Girl." He smirked. That's gonna be around forever, oh well.

"What is your name Olive Garden Girl?" He asked.

"Emma." I said shyly.

"Suits you." He smiles holding out his hand. I took it, and swung our hands back and forth. He was taking us to the entrance. After coming in, I saw Lei and Alex laughing. I'm glad they're hitting it off.

"So love birds, what're the plans?" Cody teased.

"I hate to leave you Em, but Alex wants to take me sightseeing." She clapped excitedly.

"Go have fun Lei, do you have your jacket?" I asked. She shook her head no.

"Maybe you guys could take us by the apartment, so we see it. Grab out jackets, then split up?" I asked. Looking around seeing nods.

"Who's riding with who?" Lei asked. We all made faces at her. "No, who's riding in who's car?" She asked a more realistic question.

"You two take Lei's car, I'll take Olive in mine." He said swinging our hands. I smiled.

We all walked out in our group going the same way. Cody took out his keys, and a Jeep beeped. No...I love jeeps. My dream car. I let go of his hand and ran to the Jeep. I was melting, could he get any more perfect than this. I heard them all chuckle at my actions, I stuck my tongue out at them. "I take it you like Jeeps." Cody smiled. I nodded excitedly.

"What are you waiting for, hop in Olive." That's all it took, I was in bouncing in the seat. Oh my god I so want one. Cody got in and started it, oh the sound, beautiful.

"Buckle up Olive." Cody said. After buckling up, I thought about the nickname.

"I've got a question." I said.

"Yeah me too." Cody said. "I need an address."

"Just follow Lei, and why do you call me Olive, you know my name?"

"I'll tell you later." He smiled. I trusted him so, I'd wait.

"Okay." I said. The rest of the car ride was quiet, except the quiet music. After arriving, I noticed Lei's car. Except there was no Lei, I hope she didn't already go in without me. We got out, and walked into the building. I saw Lei and Alex, it was a cute site. Lei was laid on his shoulder, eyes closed. He was playing with her hair, and seemed to be singing softly. I smiled, my best friend seemed so happy. I intertwined me and Cody's hands, I felt safe like this. We walked over, and Alex nudged Lei. They stood up, and we got in the elevator. I pressed 25, yeah on the twenty fifth floor, apartment 2525. We were on the very end, we stopped in front of the door. I let go of Cody's hand and fished my keys out, and opened it. Lei and I agreed on a modern look, black and white, with a bit of color. It worked really well together. I entered my room, and gasped. It was perfect, it had white walls, a yellow and gray comforter, white dresser with a Tv on top of it. My bed side tables were decorated with lamps. I walked into my bathroom, white and black tile, with yellow here and there. Overall perfect. I walked back in my room to see Cody checking it out. "I like it, good taste." Cody said, nodding.

"Thank you." I smiled. Digging in my closet. I asked for them to bring my suitcase up for me. I found a pair of leggings, long sleeve dark blue Pink shirt. 

"I'm going to change real quick, make yourself at home." I ducked into the bathroom. I changed quickly, and threw my hair in a bun. Coming out to grab a jacket, I saw Cody looking at my photos. He was smiling.

 "Whatcha looking at?" I teased. He blushed, "So-Sorry, I shouldn't snoop." 

"It's cool, I don't mind." I laughed. Grabbing my gray jacket, I pointed at my door. I walked into Lei's room to see it looks like mine, just with a blue-green. Pretty. Her and Alex were cuddled up.

"I think we are gonna stay in, watch movies." Lei pointed at her Tv, The Little Mermaid was playing.

"Okay, we'll be back sometime." I looked at Cody waiting for him to answer.

"Just don't wait up, it'll be late." Cody smiled at Alex, and he smiled back.

"See ya Olive Garden Girl!" He waved. I laughed, Alex was going to be a great friend.

"Bye Alex, bye Lei." I waved, but Lei was to focused on her movie. I shook my head and went out the door. I grabbed my keys, and we left. 

And that there is how the night started.
