Lydia POV:
I'm gonna be honest, Stiles isn't that bad. I mean, yes he is a nerd, but he is actually kinda nice. Right now, he is getting us some drinks.
I feel really bad for judging Stiles just because he is a nerd. And I think if he had made other friends, wore other clothes, he would be very popular."Hey, you okay?" I hear Stiles say.
"Yes, I'm good, why?" I ask him as he sits next to me and gives me my drink.
"You just seemed a little off." he tells me.
"Oh, I was just thinking." I tell Stiles. As we drink our drinks, we sit in a comfortable silence.
Till Stiles speaks up: "What were you thinking about?"
"Just stuff." I lie to him, he sees that I'm not telling the truth and gets curious.
"Just stuff, you seemed a little bit too dreamy for, just stuff." He says.
I should just ask him.
"Well Stiles, do you know why you aren't popular?" I ask him.
"Kinda because of Scott, but that is not the whole reason. I think at least. I honestly have no idea." He tells me, quite confused.
"Yeah, so do I. You're a nice guy Stiles, you just need to show people who you really are." I tell him.
"And how do I do that? I mean, I'm already me. Right?" He asks me.
"Well, maybe you could try being less sarcastic." I suggest to him.
"No way. Lydia, I'm 147 pounds of pale skin and fragile bones, sarcasm is my only defense!" He tells me.
Okay, maybe he's right.
"Then we'll try something else. I'm gonna help you." I tell him.
He looks a bit surprised. "You're going to help me get popular? That's crazy Lydia. I'm not like you, you know?"
"No, you're not, not yet." I tell him and I give him a wink. He just laughs.
We continue bowling till, of course, I win. And we walk outside.
"Stiles, I'm gonna be honest with you, you surprised me." I tell him while looking down at the ground.
Why am I shy? I'm never shy.
"How so?" he asks me.
"Well, because you're actually a really nice guy. A lot nicer than I expected." I admit to him.
He looks a bit surprised. "Oh well, thank you, I guess."
We just stand here for a couple of seconds, both of us not knowing what to do.
"Well, I'm just gonna go now. Gotta be home before dinner." he tells me.
"Okay, me too." I tell him.
We both say our goodbyes and walk away.

( the next day at school )
Stiles POV:
"So I told her that I wasn't popular, like her. And then she told me 'Not yet'. And she told that I wasn't as bad as she thought I was, that's a compliment right?" I excitedly tell my best bud Scott as we walk through the hallway in school.
"Yes, I think so. Doesn't sound so bad man! I mean, you guys had like an actual conversation right?" He asks me.
"Yeah, yeah we did. I don't know if this is going to change anything man. She did tell me that I was like, a nerd." I tell Scott. He's probably not even listening... And I walk to my next class.
As I enter the classroom I see that there's only one seat left, behind Lydia. Great this is going to be awkward. As I walk to my seat Lydia looks at me and smiles, yes she actually smiles at me. And I sit down.
I hate this class, I've always sucked at Biology. But seriously, what am I supposed to do with Biology. Cut open animals on daily basis? No way. Just as I'm about to fall asleep I hear someone say my name.
"Stiles."
"Stiles, are you seriously sleeping in class?" It's Lydia who's talking to me.
I sleepily respond: "Why?"
"I wanted to ask you something, so wake up. I'm not going to talk to your hair, it's greasy," she says disgustedly. And I look up, facing her. "That's better. So I wanted to ask you if you would like to go to the mall with me today, after school."
She doesn't even have to ask.
"Hell yes! Uh, I mean, yeah sounds good." I shouldn't act too excited about this, that's kinda creepy.
"Okay, my house at 4." She tells me while turning around to face the teacher again.
"Yeah, cool." I tell her, trying to sound confident.
Wait, am I gonna be in Lydia Martin's house?
