Zariya's POV

~~~~~
I woke up for the third time only to find Roman gone and in his place a pillow. Crap! He woke up before me and caught me snuggling with him. This is super awkward, how am I suppose to approach him? Hey Roman, I know I was holding you all night but I couldn't help it, you were warm plus you looked so cu- okay Zariya shut the heck up and just pretend nothing happened.
I detached myself from the pillow and walked over to a pile of clothes that was neatly placed on the white dresser. I'm guessing Brayla placed these here. Quickly I changed out of the borrowed pajamas and into the new clothes. The jean shorts fit perfectly but the top was too little in the bust area. I took the shirt off and neatly folded it. I sat it back on the dresser and went to the bathroom.
How was I suppose to go leave the room without a shirt? I brushed my teeth and fixed my hair before walking back into the room. A white shirt laid on the floor, catching my eye. It must have been the one Roman was wearing before bed. I walked over and picked it up. I gave it a quick sniff, it smelt clean so why not? I threw it on and tied the bottom so it wasn't so baggy looking. I made my way to the kitchen and walked in only to gasp at the sight.
The counter tops were filled with cracked egg shells while the yoke was busted and painted across the surface. A thick white substance which I assumed was pancake batter was spilled on the floor, and to top the mess off a thick brown liquid was everywhere, including on Roman, Brayla, and Cambren. All three looked like they had been caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar. "Please tell me that that's chocolate syrup." I said pointing to the brown liquid. All three looked at each other and then busted out laughing.
"Yes, it's only chocolate." Brayla laughed.
"What happened in here?" I asked. I looked over to Roman, he had a bit of chocolate in his hair and on his chest, which was bare. I felt my checks grow warm and I quickly turned my attention to Cambren. Cambren looked over to Roman and smiled. Roman glared back at him and shook his head. I don't know what that was about but I'll leave it alone, for now. "Well, are you three going to just stand there or are you actually going to tell me what went down in here?" I said placing my hands on my hips.
"Well, we tried making you breakfast but seeing that Cambren and I never cook because we are vampires and Roman here can't cook to save his life, we ended up with a big mess." Brayla said sheepishly. Am I the only one who knows how to cook now days?
"Okay I'm not going to question you three any further because honestly I don't want to know what answers you may produce." I replied examining the mess once again.
"We're sorry your breakfast didn't turn out the way we planned." Cambren spoke softly. I smiled and waved it off.
"No need for apologies. But I have a deal to cut with you three." They all looked at me with burning curiosity.
"What kind of deal?" Roman finally spoke, his voice a bit rough making my insides squirm. I smiled at the sound.
"If you promise me that none of you will try to cook again and to clean this mess up, I will cook from here on out." I laughed and they joined me.
"Deal!" They all said in unison. Immediately they cleaned the mess up and went to clean themselves up afterwards, leaving me in the kitchen to began cooking breakfast for Roman and I.
I decided that today was more of a French toast type of morning. Quickly I got the milk and eggs out to prepare the mixture. I added a bit of cinnamon to the mixture and then began dipping the thick bread into it. I cooked two for myself and five for Roman, if he decided he wanted more I'd cook them after he ate the first batch. "It smells good in here." Roman said sniffing the air while towel drying his damp hair.
