My alarm blares.
I groan and roll over to turn it off.
The first day of school has rolled around at last, and I pull my self out of bed to wash my face and change into my uniform. I was up late last nigh talking to Taehyung, turns out a few of his friends are moving into the same school with him. I apply some concealer under my eyes to hide the fact that I would rather curl up in the fetal position and sleep for 13 days straight than go to school. I still don't know what school Tae is transferring to, and a part of me hopes that it's mine, but again I'm not sure why. I'm not sure why I'm so excited to see him again, the most time I've ever spent with him was two hours and I barely know the kid. I shrug to myself and grab my books for school, jogging down the stairs with my bag and grab an apple for the kitchen.
Taemin and Youngjin are sat at the table eating breakfast, still in their pyjamas and half asleep."Good morning Noona..." they chorus, their eyes half closed as they greet me. I smile at them both and ruffle their hair, before kissing my mother goodbye and heading out the door. I walk steadily down the street and down the garden path of a house a few doors down. I jump up the steps and knock on the door, and taking a step back. My best friend opens the door with a huge smile on her face. She hugs me as she greets me.
"Y/N!" she squeals. "How was your summer?"
Her name is Park Yuri and she is, to put it simply, gorgeous. She has long dark hair that flows in gentle waves past her shoulders, a small face sporting rosy cheeks and bright, hazel eyes.
"Mine where pretty good! How were yours?" I ask cheerfully as she releases me and closes the door behind her. We walk to the bus stop together, talking about our holidays, and waiting for the bus to take us to hell. I mean school.
"Yah Yuri-ah! I remembered something." I say suddenly. She turns to me and waits.
"I met a guy over the holidays.." I begin, watching her face light up. "His name is Taehyung and he's super nice, we stayed at the same hotel a few weeks ago."
"Oooooo is he cute?" she asks, nudging me. I look at her in disbelief. "I was just wondering." she says, chuckling slightly.
The bus pulls up and we get on, greeting the driver and taking our seats. The ride is only about 10 minutes and I soon see the familiar sight of the school gates as the bus slows to a stop. We get off and step into the mass of students that are pushing their way into the school yard. I hold onto Yuri tightly and we finally reach our lockers. I pile some of my books into mine and lock it and just as I turn to find Yuri again someone walks straight into me."I'm so sorry!" I exclaim as I look up, to see a group of boys standing infront of me. I look up at the person who hit me. My breath hitches.
Taehyung. A flash of recognition flits across his face, but it is gone in an instant. He scowls down at me, then pushes past and walks away with the rest of his group. I'm left dumbfounded until Yuri comes to my side."Who was that douche?" she asks, disgusted. I don't say anything. Realization replaces her previous expression. "That was Taehyung wasn't it?"
I nod slowly.
"I thought you said he was nice?" Yuri says, shaking her head."He was.." I say quietly. I'm not sure why that hurt so much. I was talking to him just last night... Yuri begins to pull me to our first class. We're in the same class again for the fourth year running and I'm greatfull for that. We reach the door of the class and walk in. I groan quietly. It looks like we have Mr. Young for chemistry...again.
I look around the classroom to see which morons I would be stuck with-and stop in my tracks. I pull Yuri to a halt and nod toward the back seats.Taehyung and his squad of six others were sat at the back of the class. Yuri rolls her eyes at them and we take our seats. Unfortunately for us the only ones left are right infront of them.
"Goodmorning everyone, I hope you had a good holiday. We have some new students this year, please make your way to the front."
All seven boys behind us stand and walk to his desk.
Taehyung speaks first."I'm Kim Taehyung, it's nice to meet you." he says, smirking at all the girls in the front row. The next to speak is the shortest of the group, with blond hair and an eye smile.
"I'm Park Jimin." he says and smiles cheerfully. The rest introduce themselves. The taller one darker hair and slight bunny teeth is called Jeon Jungkook, the one with the quiff is Kim Namjoon, the one with the resting bitch face is Min Yoongi (To be honest he's pretty hot). The sixth guy introduced himself as Jung Hoseok and he's literally a ray of sunshine, and the last is Kim Seokjin. They sit down and class begins. I'm almost falling asleep, as we've done all this last year, when I feel something hit the back of my head. I look on the ground to see a ball of paper, and turn back to see Taehyung and his squad smirking at me. I roll my eyes and turn back to face the teacher. A few seconds later another ball of paper hits me. I ignore it, but a few moments later another hits me. I continue to ignore them as at least 7 more hit me, but suddenly I can't take anymore. I slam my hand down on the table and turn around to them.
"Can you not?!" I yell. The whole class goes silent. The boys just smirk at me.
Mr Young looks slightly cross.
"Miss Y/N, is there a problem?" he asks, crossing his arms.
"No sir."
