"What was that for?" I ask, after taking a sip of my drink. Taehyung looks at me.
"What? Paying?"
I nod.
"And that other thing, were you pretending to be my boyfriend? I was happily chatting to the guy at the counter before you-"

"Flirting." Taehyung corrects under his breath, taking another sip of his drink.

"And so what if I was?"
He stays quiet, but shrugs, his gaze fixed on the table and I feel it under a little as his leg starts to bounce beneath it.

"what is it?" I ask, tapping the table infront of him and making him look at me. He shrugs.

"Nothing."

"Liar."

"Bite me."

"You wish."

He licks his lips slowly and catches my eye for a second again before looking away. We are almost done with our drinks, and when we are, we step outside into the chilly afternoon. A few steps down the road, I feel Taehyung's arm snake around my shoulder. I look up at him quickly.

"What? You're clearly freezing, I'd give you my jacket but I'm not wearing one, and it's chivalry." he says, shrugging, and saying the last part with a fake posh accent that brings a smile to my lips.

"Whatever."
He keeps his arm around me for the rest of the walk home, and by the time we get there I realise that I don't need him to keep me warm, as my cheeks are now hotter than the sun. As I reach to unlock the front door, Taehyung stops me.

"Is it true? What your brother said.. About you missing..summer?"
I knew exactly what he meant, but for some reason I pretend not to. I tilt my head to one side questioningly. He starts again.
"Do you miss..what we had over summer." I nod a little, hardly noticeable, and walk inside quickly. I feel something ache inside me. 'what we had.' Past tense.
I don't know why it hurt when he said that, but I did my best to ignore it and he followed me to my room again.
Not ten minutes later, we call it a day. The next bus to the other side of town doesn't leave for two hours, so we sit together on my bed watching a movie that Taehyung had picked.
The title rolls across the screen. You have got to me kidding me. Another horror, but I'm not surprised.
I don't understand the storyline, but to be perfectly honest, I'm more focused on not freaking the hell out infront of Taehyung every time something popped up out of nowhere.
Part way through the movie, my phone buzzes.

1 unread message.

-Chim Chim
Is that Taehyung in your room?

-Me
Yeah

-Chim Chim
Oh, maybe it's a bad time to bring this up, but hes totally a convicted rapist :)

I snort with laughter at this, and out the corner of my eye, see Taehyung read the message and scowl.

-Me
Great, thanks for the heads up. You might need to save me later

-Chim Chim
Ah don't worry, I'll climb through your window and save your princess ass from the dragon

-Me
You're so extra oml

-Chim Chim
I know right

I smile again. Taehyung pauses the movie.

"Do you like Jimin?" he blurts out. I turn away from my phone.

"Duh."
He shakes his head.
"No I mean like, like like Jimin."
I shrug. Something flashes across his eyes for a second as he nods, and presses play on the movie again.
Just as the next jump scare appears, a bird flies into my window. I scream and jump violently, somehow ending up clinging to Taehyung's shirt. He laughs so hard he nearly falls off my bed.
"Shut up." I mumble, moving away from him, but he pulls me back again, 'just incase'. I don't complain.
The movie finally ends, and my face has become accustomed to hiding in the crook of Taehyung's neck. I pull away from him, admittedly a little reluctantly, and stretch. He glances at the time on his phone.

"I should get going.." he says quietly. I nod slowly and help him gather his books and things that still lie on my bedroom floor. A minute later, we stand together at the front door. He smiles at me and waves as he starts down the path.
"Wait." I call, he stops and turns around. I jog after him and hug him lightly. He hugs me back with little hesitation, his arms a little tighter than I had expected and his face buried into my hair. I smile a little into his chest, before pulling away.

"See you tomorrow Taehyung." I say as I walk back I to the house.

"Call me Oppa." he says, a smirk playing on his lips as he walks away. I roll my eyes playfully and watch him walk off down the street, before I close the door. Youngjin and Taemin wait for me on the stairs.

"So are you dating yet?" Taemin asks. I roll my eyes and tell him to shove off so I can go back to my room.

"Yah you never denied it!" Youngjin cries triumphantly, jumping up.

"We are NOT together!" I state, a little louder than I meant to. The boys freeze. I sigh and push past them, heading up to my room. My books are still on the floor, and I jump over them into bed. My pillow smells like him - Taehyung - Now. I bury my face into it and curl up. It had been a long day. Heck, I nearly fell off the school roof because of that kid. For some reason this makes me smile. Why does thinking of him make me smile?

Then comes a real reason to smile.
Something bounces off my window, and I sit up to see Jimin at his window, grinning at me. I smile back, getting off my bed and opening my window as he found his ladder again, making a bridge between our houses and climbing across.

"So, how was it? Got cosy with the convict?" Jimin jokes as he sits beside me. I laugh and punch his shoulder lightly.

"Yeah it was good, he only tried to rape me twice." I joke back, and he laughs softly, shaking his head.

"It seems I have failed my mission of being your Prince Charming." he says quietly. I look at him. "you know, saving you an Shit." he laughs again and I laugh with him.

"Nobody said that."
