'Ha! I won! Now you have to clean the dishes tonight!'

Eden and I just played a game of cards and obviously he won, as usual.

'Okay okay, fair is fair.' I tell him while I laugh at his extremely happy face. 'I'll do the dishes but only if I get a rematch afterwards.'

Eden looks at me with a cheeky smile on his face. 'What? Is there something on my face? Because if there is I would appreciate it if you would tell me.' He laughs. That perfect little laugh would cheer anyone up. 'No, no! There's nothing on your face. But are you sure you want to play against this mastermind? Again? I wouldn't want you to get even more insecure about your playing skills!'

'Oh no you didn't!' I laugh at him standing up to get him. As soon as he sees what I'm about to do he gets up and runs away. But not fast enough. I catch up on him and pick him up. Eden tries to get away causing me to lose my balance. Before I know it we're both on the ground. I start tickling him and he laughs even harder than he already was which makes me laugh harder too. I can't handle it anymore so I stop tickling him and lay beside him on the ground.

Eden turns his face to me. There are tears in his eyes from laughter. 'Was that enough cheekiness for today?' I ask him. 'Not nearly enough!' He answers. 'Oh really? Maybe I should continue tickling you then?' 'No no no!, I'll stop, I promise!' He laughs.

'What is going on here! Ileana why haven't you started on dinner yet? I told you we would get visitors!' says misses Parker barging into the living room.

'I was just about to start. I'm sorry.' I say rolling my eyes.

'You better are young lady. Remember don't boil the potato's too long like you did last time, they were horrible!'

'Yes, misses Parker.' I could have said something to annoy her, but right now I think it's better not to. She's been doing weird all day, but I don't know why.

I look at Eden and he rolls his eyes too. Misses Parker walks to her chair by the fireplace, sits down and picks up a book. At least that's one thing she and I have in common, we love to read.

Eden and I walk to the kitchen. I've told him a thousand times before I can prepare the dinner on my one, but he insisted he'd help me.
