It was a normal Friday like any other when I got a notification for the school website which I normally don't look at, as it always ends up to be some boring thing about clubs going on in the school but out of curiosity I checked what it was.

-This years graduation for Manchester High has been scheduled for this Saturday at 10:00 am at the stadium before the soccer team championship.

"Great! Now I have to set out more clothes from my suit case for this." I hurriedly got a dress shoes and jewelry to set out so I could tell my mum and dad before they left so they could plan to be at my graduation. I about zoomed down down the stairs almost slipping calling for mum as I went .

"Mum, Mum MUM?" I walk into the kitchen to find a note on the fridge.

-Me and your dad left for a business trip. Sorry we will miss your futbol game and to see you off for your tour but make sure to skype us when your on the bus so we know your safe.

I felt a tear run down my cheek and fall onto the paper 'they're going to miss graduation, seeing me off AND my biggest futbol game of the season. They promised they would come to one but we see how that worked.' I thought to myself. "At least I have my friends to cheer my on" I said with a smile going on my face just thinking of them doing stupid stuff in the crowd while I walk onto the field with the other students. So I get out my phone to text them about it so they know.

Cal_gal- Hey are any of you free Saturday morning around 10?

Lizzy_Marie- Nope sorry I am going to harbor with family before we meet at bus.

Carly_Que- Me to I am busy with family aren't you?

Nat_queen- Same finishing up packing and spending time with family. Did your parents leave for business again cal?

Cal_gal- It is fine and no Nat they did not they have a meeting that ends at noon just thought we might do a practice before then but it is totally fine. I will just do a solo and rock it! 😉 gtg finish packing lost my check list somewhere oops.

Carly_Que- Ok your rock girl see you tomorrow at 4:30 sorry we could not make it to your futbol game but we will do a one on one at one of the stops! Have a good time packing!

Lizzy_Marie- Yea I am sorry about missing your game to but you know family. I will see you later!

I then turned off my phone and fought not to cry. 'So no one is coming. I am by myself anyway I am a party of one I can have fun by myself any way They will not see their family so I get it.' I thought to myself trying to cheer myself at least a little it clearly not working so I just drew my feeling away in a picture like I do most days It helps.

I end up drawing a girl with a piece missing of her face with branches drawn onto her face and I relize that girl is me with the missing piece of my parents and the branches of the old days before their small business turned into their priority making it bigger and filling my parents whole lives. That girl is me, I guess that piece fell off as soon as I was basically forgotten.

I was as broken as a piece of glass on the floor but difference from the glass was I knew how to put my self together again. For my friends I was as strong as happy as they were but behind it when I can think I am truly. Deeply. Broken
