The sun was beginning to set and the air was becoming frigid. The wind from the outside shook the abandoned house. Jack and I walked up the rickety stairs and the house grew cold.

I timidly looked up at Jack and said,

"Do you work alone?" I felt embarrassed for asking, but it wouldn't surprise me if Jack was getting tired of seeing my face.

"Why, what did you have in mind?" He replied.

"There's this chick who lives down the street, Sidney. She's always been a real bitch. We'd be doing everyone a favor by giving her a one way ticket to hell." It sounded like I was asking him out on a sick, twisted date. My stomach was in knots waiting for his answer. What the fuck was wrong with me?

"Sounds like a good time. Only if I can have her organs, I haven't eaten in a while. It's kind of my signature." he smugly answered. It seemed like a strange response, but it was somehow exactly what I was hoping for.

"I'll lead the way." I said as I marched out of the house. I placed my mask on with a smile and flipped my hood up. When we reached Sidney's house, Jack hoisted me up to her parents bedroom window. I slid it open and crawled inside. Her parents were asleep so Jack took the mother, and the father was mine. I carefully began to press my sharp blade into his neck. He opened his eyes and gave me a terrified look, nervously gagging.

"Shhh, it'll all be over soon. Close your eyes, you're doing great." I said as I dragged the blade, watching him choke on his own blood. When the gagging stopped I looked up at Jack and we both nodded.

We swiftly entered the polished and pink bedroom of our key victim. I stepped on top of her bed and knelt over her sleeping body. She felt the disturbance and drowsily opened her eyes.

"Hello, number two."
