Hesitating I looked around to make sure it was me he was speaking to.

"Love?" I heard him say again looking right at me. He let out a chuckle. I must have looked so starstruck!

I made my way over to him my heart racing in my chest. God, he was beautiful. His eyes looked me up and down while I blushed trying to look as cool as I could. When his eyes met mine he asked me my name.

"Lucy," I replied looking into those beautiful eyes. His hair was a bit messy from all the sweat. He still looked amazing.

"Lucy. I like that name," he grinned seeing me blush deeply. "I'm Alex, by the way."

I couldn't help but laugh. "I know! How could I not know?!"

"Just thought you might be a new fan," he smiled hearing my laugh for the first time.

I shook my head and began to tell him about when I first discovered them. How it'd been a few years and I'd loved them ever since. He smiled listening to me and laughed at all my stupid jokes. When I noticed I'd been talking awhile I apologized.

"No worries, darling!" he said making me blush again. I think he might have been enjoying it. "Do you wanna come back on the bus and meet everyone?"

I nodded happily and he led me to the bus. He waved goodbye to all the eager girls wishing they'd been me. Why me? I have no idea but I'm just glad it was.

Nick, Jamie, and Matt all shook my hand and said hello as Alex introduced me. I couldn't believe I was in the same room as them! My favorite band! This is every girls dream!

"You guys were incredible tonight!" I said trying not to sound too excited.

Matt chuckled, I think my plan may have failed. "Thanks!" He said. The rest nodded.

I caught Alex staring at me and I looked down at my feet blushing. I felt his hand rub my back comfortingly, as if he was telling me everything was okay and not to be nervous. Somehow this made me feel safe. I felt comfortable around him. Maybe it was his charm, his smile, or maybe how he was everything I'd ever wanted.

"Do you want a tour?" Alex asked me.

I answered with a nod as he showed me where they played video games, where they ate, their large supply of leftover nandos and beer, and led me to their bunks. I ran my hands along their tiny spaces. Their mattresses were a lot more comfortable than you'd think.

Alex showed me his bunk. It had a couple empty beer bottles, a beat up notebook, and a pen. I had to stop myself from sneaking a peek inside the notebook. Maybe one day.

I felt Alex's breath against my neck and I smiled at its warmth. He asked me what I thought of it.

I turned around to face him and chuckled, "perfect rockstar bunk."

He smiled and we went back out to hang with the band. I sat with Alex while he played video games. I watched his face and how concentrated he looked. His eyes were glued to the screen. He'd scrunch up his nose and lean when he was losing then throw his fist in the air whenever he won. He was so into it. His hands gripped the controls like I wished they'd bend holding my hands. It took all my strength not to kiss his cheek while he played.

When he was finally done, he looked at me with a huge smile on his face. He looked into my eyes and I felt that connection again.

"What?" I asked blushing.

Alex put his hand on my cheek and kissed me.
