part 4. Arno x reader

I stood and watched as some assassins bring a man from the streets into out home.

" Who's that?" I asked a fellow assassin. He looked at him and looked back at me.

" Arno Dorain, kid of that Charles Dorain." I nodded and continued to watch them.
I entered the main hall to find ' Grandpa' talking to the head of council.

" sweet cheeks, how was your last mission, find anyway to not get felt up?" I pulled a sarcastic grin ad I watched the old man laugh.

"Not yet Grandpa, but trust me I got more action in a day than you probably ever got at my age so keep it shut." Arno walked into the main hall and looked around. I stared at him in his rags. He stared at me and back to the head of council.

" well welcome piss - pot. " the old man laughed as he walked down the stairs .

I stared at the man who, I must admit he wasn't half bad.

" Well, Arno... what do you seek from the creed?" The head of council spoke.

"Revenge... on the man who killed sir De la serre, and my father."

"Then why not go bother the guards? It's less hassle-"

" madame, this man can see things only a few people can. He said he saw scribbles in the prison cell. It obviously must be passed down by his father." Grandpa said trying to pursuade the council.

"I mean the least we could do is let him join, what's the worst that could happen." I soon joined in. The female council member stared at me.

"  Il pourrait être un danger pour la croyance! Nous ne risquons pas de le risquer. we don't know him at all" She stated. I walked forward.

" and if I remember correctly madame, when I came here 10 years ago to seek help you said the exact same thing and now look. I'm one of your high ranked assassins. Please, I'll even watch him just to make sure he do east pull anything and if he does ill kill him." I said a convincing as possible. Grandpa said I was good at stuff like that, so I used it as an advantage.

"Fine, we shall seek your request Arno. Please drink from the cup." The head of council pronounced.

I left the main hall and walked the streets of pari, nothing overall dramatic happened until Arno ran up to me.

" thank you, about before." He smiled. His smile made my throat burn but I had to stay professional.
"Well it's bad enough she doesn't trust me already and then I'm begging the creed to let in a stranger. I'm on thin ice." I looked down and giggled. "But no worries Grandpa did the same for me."

" Is he your actual Grandpa?" Arno asked as we both lent over the barrier looking over the river.

" No, just I nick - name, but he might as well be family. The only one who has been there for me since I joined."

" your not from here are you?"

I smirked and looked at him.
"No, I'm from England.  Moved here after my mother and father split and my mother passed. Only 10 at the time and then that's when I joined. What about you? "

Arno and I talked for hours on end and by the time we realised it was already dark.

" well I am sorry about your father. If anything you have my back I assure you, it's what the creed stands for."

"AYE LOOK AT THAT FINE ONE! OH MADAME!" A dunkie came up I rolled my eyes and smiled. Arno watched, just to see what I would do.

" go. Away."

" come with me madame,
Permettez-moi de prendre votre dignité"

" how young do you think I am piss head? Trust me I've had more men in my bed than you've been drunk. Bastard. "

The drunk came closer and groped my breasts. I punched his jaw and heard the satisfaction of his jaw dislocating. Arno also punched him and threw him in the river.

" guess I can add that the the list." I said sarcastically.

"You get that often?"

"Yep, me and Grandpa make fun out of it most times."

Arno looked me in the eyes almost like he hadn't heard me at all. He stepped closer.

" Don't make me add you on the list to."

Arno smiled and cupped my cheek.

"You have the most beautiful grey eyes I have ever seen." This comment made me blush and without thinking I lent forward and kissed him, his lips were firm but sort at the same time.

I'd be lying If I said I didn't enjoy it....
