I woke up in a start and saw Bofur rocking me awake.
'We have to leave now, lassie,' he softly announced. I got up from the couch and got ready.
The company and I rode on ponies. They were so small and I felt awkward riding next to dwarves who were shorter than me.
'Wait,' I heard a voice from behind me. I realised it was Bilbo. Fili and Kili lifted him up onto a pony and we continued the journey.
That night the orcs came. Half the dwarves were asleep and the rest were minding their own business. I was the first one to hear orc cries. Even though I had been away from orcs for 50 years, I still could fluently understand and speak their language.
'Lady Celiviel, where are you?' One of them hissed. He had obviously caught my scent.
'Are there orcs out there?' Bilbo squeaked. Fili and Kili nodded.
'They attack at night. No sound, just a lot of blood,' the brothers snickered. Poor Bilbo looked terrified. Thorin stormed past the laughing brothers.
'You know nothing of the world,' Thorin hissed.
'Don't mind him laddie, Thorin has more cause then most to hate orcs,' Balin sighed. Balin began to tell the story of Thorin and Azog. I crossed my fingers hoping he wouldn't mention me. Bilbo than asked what happened to Azog.
'He snuck back into the filthy whole from once he came,' Thorin spat. I felt my anger rising. I hadn't become angry for ages now. Under my blind fold, I closed my eyes. I couldn't risk being angry because I would most likely kill him.
'Who are your parents?' Bilbo asked. I looked at him, his eyes were full of sorrow and I realised he pitied me.
'My mother was an elf, she died in childbirth. My father a man then abandoned me,' I told him not feeling the sorrow I should have been feeling.
'Oh,' Bilbo replied,' I am so sorry.'
'Don't be,' I spat at him,' I always receive pity.'
'What happened to your eyes?' Balin asked changing the conversation.
'I was wounded in battle,' I replied looking down.
'Which battle?' Balin asked.
'One that you were in,' I smiled,' the battle of Moria.'
Balin didn't reply but I felt Thorin's eyes on me and I got up and left. I walked into the woods. When I got out of sight, I started to run towards the orcs. They smiled as I approached.
'Lady Celiviel,' one of the orcs greeted.
'Orcish scum, what brings you here?' I hissed orcish.
'Your father wishes to see if you have made your decision,' the other orc hissed back.
'I have made my decision,' I replied. The orcs nodded.
'Now go and report,' I snarled the way I used to. The orcs turned around and rode their wargs away. I turned back to where the dwarves were. I crumpled to the ground. What was I going to do? I got back up and walked back to the dwarves. They were mostly asleep and I laid down and closed my eyes.
I'm sure you get the hang of what to do now... Keep on reading and thank you.
