'What? You were cursed to kill me,' Thorin exclaimed.
'Yes, father wanted to wipe out the line of Durin. Azog swore on it but father didn't trust me because of my elvish blood, so he cursed me,' I explained and showed his my curse, he gasped at the black speech.
'Were you going to kill me? Are you going to kill me?' He asked. Eru, Thorin, where's your logic?
'If I wanted you dead, I would have let Azog finish you off. Trust me Thorin, the curse burns all the time, urging me to kill you, telling me to but I fight it,' I smiled,' the name Gandalf gave me, means strong in elvish.'
'I shouldn't have kissed you. For that I am sorry,' Thorin apologised.
'And I shouldn't have slapped you, you know that you are a great kisser,' I smirked and he blushed.
'You have a good slapping hand,' he observed, recovering from my previous comment.
'Thanks, had many orcs to practice on.'
'You are comparing me to an orc!'
'Well, an orc would be slightly more handsome and not as annoying and stubborn,' I teased.
'You know in Erebor, I had every dwarf maiden running after me, even a couple of married ones.'
'But that's the difference between me and a dwarf woman, I am not desperate. I could pretty much have any mortal, dwarf or orc I wanted, it would be harder with an elf, with my evil blood.'
'Dwarf women aren't desperate,' he retorted.
'Did any dwarf women chase you around when you lost Erebor?' I asked and saw his hurt expression,' they only wanted money and power and your were a pretty handsome prince.'
He smiled,' one minute you say an orc is more handsome and then you saw that I was a handsome prince.'
'Yes, was,' I smirked,' now you're old with a few grey hairs.'
'Could you be any ruder?'
'Possibly,' I smiled but was interrupted by Balin.
'Thorin, can Bilbo scout,' he asked.
'Sure. He's a burglar, let's test him,' Thorin suggested.
'Done,' Balin replied and sent Bilbo off. Thorin walked over towards Bilbo and I had to say he did actually look very majestic. Stop it...I told myself. I didn't need a distraction, especially not a dwarf. I would only get hurt, plus who would want an evil elf. I was as bad as wanting an orc for a wife. If there were any female orcs, seeing as I had only met males.
Elóndra
A voice echoed through my head. Galadriel.
Galadriel. I replied.
Galadriel- Orcs are closing in. Lord Elrond has seen your fate.
Me- What did he see?
Galadriel- I can not say exactly, but in order to complete this quest you're going to have to confront your past.
Me- Either Thorin or Azog will die? I know.
Galadriel- Yes. You are right. Don't regret the chances you didn't take. Enjoy this quest because it could be your last. Love. Have fun.
Me- When you say love, you mean Thorin right? And even if I did love Thorin, which I don't, he wouldn't love me back, I am of the two things he hates most in life, orcs and elves.
Galadriel- He hates Smaug more then he hates elves.
Me- True.
Galadriel- I must go. Remember what I said.
Me- I don't think I could forget what you said, even if I tried. Me and Thorin, in love?
Galadriel- (Chuckling).
Gandalf looked over at me. It was like Gandalf knew who I was talking to, he probably did. He began to walk over to me.
'Elóndra,' he greeted.
'Gandalf,' I greeted back.
'Was your father the necromancer?'
I gulped,' more like is the necromancer.'
'Are you like him?' Can you raise the dead?'
'No...I can kill but not resurrect.'
'Hmmm,' Gandalf mumbled.
'Gandalf, it's Bilbo,' Ori interrupted.
Authors Note:
Sorry for the wait, unfortunately, I am going to have wait till I buy the desolation of smaug to write the next chapter. And exams are coming up. Seven, scary exams! So I am really really sorry that I won't update for a while. I will do my best though. I may get another few chapters in before end of term. Thanks for your support.
