Chapter 6- Lady Galadriel

Soon Lady Galadriel joined me.

'You know who I am and what I am and you know what haunts me,' I told her.

'Yes,' she replied out loud.

'What should I do?' I sighed.

'Become what you were born to become,' she told me.

'What! You want me to be a monster,' I gasped.

'No, that's not what I meant. Why were you born?' She asked.

'To die,' I sighed.

'No, you were born to live. To challenge your fate. The curse is strong but you are stronger. You have a choice. I know you do,' she told me.

'Yes, what should I do. Shall I betray the dwarves and let father bring my mother back to life or shall I stay with them.'

'If I were you, I would stay with the dwarves. They are the only family you have ever known and family is forever and you may even find romance,' Lady Galadriel stated.

'Thank you, what about my eyes?'

'Use them, it is your gift. Use it for good not evil.'

I nodded and left. I found the dwarves.

'What happened?' Fili asked.

'Just go away,' I hissed on the brink of crying. I was so stressed, angry, and just sad. The dwarves heard me and looked at me. A single tear dripped through my blindfold and down my cheek. The first tear I had ever cried. I turned away and ran towards the fountain. I put my head in my hands, I didn't notice someone come and sit down next to me.

'What's wrong?' a gentle voice asked. I looked up to see Thorin sitting next to me.

'Nothing,' I snapped.

'Seriously, what's wrong?' He asked again.

'If you did something dreadful, that you bitterly regret liked killed someone what would you do?' I asked him.

'I would forgive myself for doing it because there is no use in wasting time regretting it,' he explained. I decided to forgive myself even though it wasn't my forgiveness that I needed.

'Thanks,' I sighed. He stood up and left. I was going to have to ask Thorin, Balin and Dwalin for their forgiveness or it would kill me.
