"Polleti."

?

"Turn off my chip."

This is the start. Not the start of the world, that's a long, boring, and complicated story. What I'm talking about is the story of a new hero. Though she is hardly one now, she'll grow. Now you might be thinking a few things. Who's the narrator? What's a chip? Who the fuck is Polleti? To make this easier I can assure you that you'll find out, though some explanation on Polleti is needed. Did you read that description for the book? If you didn't, you're lost, go back and read it. For those of you who did, congratulations! You know more about the story. So back a bit, when all those countries where first making this world they were inventing a system to oversee it. They though, "oh, ho, let's put a human brain in the system and make them run it." So they picked a young Japanese girl and her last name was Polleti. She was very nice and very beautiful. I can't remember what she looked like though. Anyways, after a bit of training, she was placed in a super cool and weird looking machine where her brain was downloaded to an entire world. She could control systems and things in the world, but more importantly she help out the people in the new world. When the new inhabitants finally arrived their brains were implanted with a little chip. The chip could administer medicine and recite books and poems on cue with sweet Polleti's voice. Or at least that's what she was meant for. That's a quick story that should help all of you. Whatever, the Polleti I just described isn't too important yet. Back to that weird person who said something that caused this disruption from this amazing story.

"Wait, no. I'm sorry, but I have to decline. I can't stay away from my mom." Our hero says, in her mumbly way. She was always shy when she wasn't by herself, or with Polleti.

"But you must. I insist you do. You have an excellent physic and, though you have never attended a school, present yourself in a way that I'm sure will allow you to fit in rather easily. As for your mother, Polleti can easily take care of her. Does your mother work?" The vice-president of the student run administrative team has open arms for her. More than that, more like they are grabbing at her with force beyond reason. And with a simple stuttering breath, our heroine says,

"She does not work." Both the young ladies stare far past each other. No, they are not in the same room together. It's on of the features of the chips, it allows them to call a person. But only when both parties are willing and Polleti allows it. So they both continue to stare out and say nothing. But you know how much children like to talk and the silence broke.

"I really think you should reconsider. If not Polleti, have someone site her." The student begs her.

"No!" A simple out burst. Tisk. Tisk.

Aire. I am appalled by this behavior. Keep the yelling at meanness for the street.

Aire, our heroines name finally reviled, apologies profusely.

"I am sorry. I will reconsider. I will come to check the place tomorrow, like you scheduled. Goodbye." Without another word for the other student, the program is shut down.

You really did a great job there, Aire. Fantastic. Ten out of ten.

"Okay, I get it. Ha, ha, the fuckin' shy girl gets over protective of her mom. Big deal. You know I get all, ugh, awkward around people. It's in my character, as you say." Aire stands from where she was sitting, a concrete floor, and stretches out her long arms and lengthy legs.

So, you're really going to just "check it out."

She walks ask a run down bathroom and peeks inside a small bedroom with a bed and a single nightstand. There, in the bed, was a woman. Aire's mother. Beautiful though she was, scars ran across almost her entire body. "I know I'll get nervous and get coxed into joining, but she had a point. You can just help her out."

Yeah, but it's so much work, and effort, and time.

"Polleti."

?

"Turn off your sass."
