"To be faithful is to learn to trade with what is committed to our care and cause it to multiply"

In the last series we discussed about who a Steward is and we looked at the parable of the talent but we will consider in this series

HOW TO BECOME FAITHFUL IN WHAT IS COMMITTED TO OUR CARE

"Commitment reflects our faithfulness and how we really submit to authority over us"

Since the Lord said if a man is not faithful in the things of another man then who will give him his own?

Luke  16:12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

The prove of faithfulness first lies in how faithful you are in the things of others. A man that is not faithful in another man's thing will not be given his own. No wonder Paul was saying we should not look to our own things but first to the things of others

Philippians  2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

1 Corinthians  10:24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.

So you'll understand that Paul understood the principle Jesus was preaching when Jesus said "if a man is not faithful on another man's who shall give him his own"  so it's clear that a man must be committed to the things of others

"True responsibility lies on how you are committed to the things of others"

We found out that Paul was not just preaching this things but he himself was doing it by seeking the profit of many

1 Corinthians  10:33 Even as I please all men in all things, NOT SEEKING MINE OWN PROFIT, BUT THE PROFIT OF MANY, that they may be saved.

You'll be shocked that Jesus said if a man can not be found even faithful in handling of money then the true riches of the kingdom can not be given to him. This teaching is deep!

Luke  16:11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

You'll observe that Jesus used the word "unrighteous Mammon" , He actually stressed that Mammon that if we can not be found faithful in what is unrighteous and handle it properly as righteous folks then true riches can not be committed to our care. To me it tells that to guarantee the true riches of the kingdom we must have been found faithful in the unrighteous Mammon which is money. You'll understand that Jesus didn't answer this question He just placed it before us as children of God and we are to carefully look into it then walk by the answer. So to be faithful stewards is to trade with what is commited to our care.

We shall end this series by looking at HOW TO SUSTAIN FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP
