"We must secure faithful stewardship since we ourselves have been found faithful"

In the last series we discussed on HOW TO BECOME FAITHFUL STEWARDS by trading with what is committed to us by being faithful in them, in the things of others and in the unrighteous Mammon so that our own things can be given to us and that we may have the true riches of the kingdom. To just add a little to what we have shared so far, we understand that the need for faithful men has being for time and indeed faithful stewards need to arise because all men will say they are faithful but how do we test faithfulness in a man?

Proverbs  20:6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

We shall end this series by looking at

HOW TO SUSTAIN FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP

"We have not completed our work as stewards until we raise faithful stewards like us"

Stewardship shouldn't just end with us but must also begin with another people by training men to become what we have become. We must not allow the work of the kingdom of God to suffer in the hands of unfaithful men who are seeking their own things

Philippians  2:19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.

2:20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.

2:21 FOR ALL SEEK THEIR OWN, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

"The mark of unfaithful Stewards is to seek after your own things"

We see Paul telling Timothy to commit to faithful men the things he has learn from him so that they can be able to teach it to others

2 Timothy  2:2  And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

I believe Paul want to keep to that chain of faithful stewards and for him to say that Timothy should commit the things he has learned from him to faithful men then it means that Timothy was found faithful in learning those things from Paul and this we found that Paul said of Timothy and how he was committed to the teachings of Paul because he was also with Paul everywhere that he went to and he truly served Paul

1 Corinthians  4:17 For this cause have I sent unto you TIMOTHEUS, WHO IS MY BELOVED SON, and FAITHFUL IN THE LORD, who shall bring you into REMEMBRANCE OF MY WAYS which be in Christ, AS I TEACH EVERY WHERE IN EVERY CHURCH.

Philippians  2:22 But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, HE HATH SERVED WITH ME IN THE GOSPEL.

So  Paul was saying that Timothy should commit those things he has learn from him also to faithful men and not allow those things to die. That's how to keep the bond of faithful stewardship by committing what we have learn thereby to faithful men because if we don't do, what we learn will only abide with us and such trainings that we receive people may not get such again, because by the time we teach others we will not lower the standard but we shall keep it high and then truly we will have faithful stewards in God's kingdom and this is very applicable in leadership.
