I want someone like David
Someone that has maturity
And a good sense of humility
Yet still remains a pure, untouched seed
Naïve to all the world's greed
'Tis with his kind levity
That I assume for his immortality—
A reason I never can heed
But perhaps, I want someone close to my age
Older, older than David be
So he would not fall into my cage
And have a ruined fantasy...
Yet, in the end, David still is in my mind
How I love to love his kind!
