(Skylar's P.O.V)
"What's this meeting for?" I ask Lisa as I slide out of the car at our next office building.
"Modeling gig. Something about H&M." She says shrugging.
"Lisa, I need to know the entire story before I go in. I can't look stupid to them." I tell her, stuffing my hands in my pockets.
"I know, I know. But the catch on this meeting is, you can't have any association with any other company. So I think this job is out the window." She says opening the door for me.
"Okay. Which is fine. I already have two movies. What more could I ask for?" I ask her.
"You don't have both yet. You still have to ace that audition." She reminds me.
"Right." I agree, following her down the hallway.
"So about those boys you met earlier? Who were they again?" She asks curiously, looking over her shoulder at me.
"Um, Forever In Your Mind, they seem cool. The one kid is Ricky, then Emery and Liam." I tell her, sitting in one of the chairs at the table.
"Right, right. And what do they do?" She asks, reading over the letter for this meeting.
"Singing. At least that's what Ricky told me, I guess we'll find out how good they are tonight at that pre-show thing." I say, playing with the strap on my leather jacket.
"What's the full story behind this one?" I ask, hoping to catch Lisa off guard. Surprisingly it works and she looks at the table.
"Swim suit model for H&M." She says.
"Nope. I don't think so." I say, getting up and walking out the door.
"Skylar!" Lisa says, running after me.
"I told you no swimsuit crap. I'm an actress, not a model." I tell her, pushing the door open.
"Okay, I admit it. I didn't exactly listen to you." She says sighing.
"What else have you scheduled for me?" I ask, turning to her and crossing my arms.
"Nothing! That was it." She says, but I see right through her.
"Who was on the phone?" I ask her, waiting for her response.
"It was about the audition for next week." She lies, making me scoff.
"Lisa? I know you're lying to me. Who called you at the park?" I ask, glaring at her.
"It was Nickelodeon." She sighs.
"I just got picked up by Disney! I can't be an actress for both!" I say to her, making her look off into the distance.
"Lisa, I'm a Disney actress. That's it. I'll be a model, but not for a company like this. Cancel this meeting or I'll find a replacement." I tell her, promising myself no matter how hard it is to find a new manager, I'll do it if I have to.
"The meeting starts in five minutes. That wouldn't look very good for either of us." She uses as an excuse.
"I mean it. I will walk out of here right now and find a new manager." I tell her, pulling my phone from my pocket.
"You wouldn't." She says, narrowing her eyes at me.
"Don't try me." I warn her and she nods.
"Okay fine." She sighs, dialing the number for the company and waiting for someone to answer.
"Hi, I'm sorry it's such short notice, my client and I are no longer interested in your offer." She explains and I watch her, making sure she truly cancels it.
"Yes, thank you for understanding. For the inconvenience. Goodbye." She says hanging up the phone.
"Perfect. Now, let's go get lunch so I can go shopping. I need new clothes for the event tonight." I tell her, making her nod and she unlocks the car. I get in and check my phone, a few text messages from my mom. She tells me how proud of me she is and I can't help but smile at her words.
"Where for lunch?" Lisa asks, leaving the parking garage.
"In-N-Out!" I say happily, both of us laughing after.
"Listen, I'm sorry about my attitude back there. I guess I kinda overreacted." I apologize, looking ahead of me.
"It's okay. I should've listened to you. I won't keep any gig from you again. From now on, I'll let you know before I schedule anything." She says nodding at me.
"I forgive you. Just no more modeling gigs for now." I say, making her smile.
"Deal." She smiles, shaking on it. I smile and turn the radio on, flipping through random channels and hearing a familiar voice.
"Is that?" Lisa asks me.
"It sounds kinda like Ricky?" I say, looking at her.
"Did you really pay that close attention to his voice?" She teases me.
"No! It just sounds like him!" I laugh, rolling my eyes and shaking my head.
"I think you have a crush on someone." She says and I blush slightly but shake my head again before she can notice it.
"Nope. I barely know him." I tell her, looking out my window.
"Uh huh. It could be love at first sight." She says, poking my leg.
"Oh my gosh. Seriously. Stop it." I laugh, shoving her hand gently.
"See! I knew it." She laughs, making me groan.
"You're wrong. I don't have a crush on him." I tell her, looking at her sternly.
"Uh huh. Maybe they'll play a song of theirs." She says, making me shrug as I lean back against the seat. I lean my head against the window, wondering what my life will be like in just a few months. I'm pulled from my thoughts when Lisa's phone rings again.
"Hello?" She asks, turning the radio off. I hear a muffled voice on the other end and she listens carefully to whatever the person says. She eventually hangs up and puts her phone back in the cup holder.
"That was your director. The table read for the movie is in the morning and filming starts right after it." She tells me.
"Tomorrow? I can't learn a script in a few hours! I need a copy, now." I tell her and she nods, calling the director back.
"Yes, the script for the movie. Okay. Thank you. Bye bye." She says and hangs up again.
"Check my email. He sent a digital copy that you can print off at home tonight." She says, handing me her phone. I login to her account and find the script, leading through it carefully.
"This is gonna be awesome!" I say excitedly, making her smile at me. I couldn't wait to see this script come to life on a screen. My dream is finally coming true, one piece at at time.

(Ricky's P.O.V)
The boys and I do an interview for Radio Disney, which was pretty cool, especially for three crazy kids like us.
"Forever In Your Mind is in the studio right now, how's it going guys? Are you guys excited to perform your song tonight?" Candice, the interviewer asks us.
"Good! I think we're all pretty excited, but also equally nervous." Emery answers and I quickly agree with him.
"How do you guys prepare yourselves for a performance?" She asks, waiting for our response.
"I just like to hang out before the show, maybe listen to some good music." I shrug, making Liam nod.
"That was pretty simple." Emery chuckles, shifting in his chair.
"I usually try and get as excited as possible. Sometimes it's difficult because of the nerves but I think, like, once I'm out on stage I'm cool." Emery explains, making me silently agree with him.
"Yeah, once you get on stage, all the nerves vanish. It's almost relieving." Liam says.
"I agree, Liam. Good explanation." I say, hearing Emery laugh.
"If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be?" She asks, looking at each of us.
"That's a good question. I'd say maybe Justin Timberlake or Bruno Mars. I don't really know. That's one of the toughest questions ever." I say, thinking about my answer for what feels like an hour.
"I'd say Bruno Mars." Emery says, sounding confident in his answer.
"I think I'd agree." Liam says nodding, looking at me.
"I have no idea. There's too many legends. They'd all be cool to work with." I say, laughing a little.
"What can fans expect from this little performance tonight?" Candice asks us.
"Hmm, well I think with us, high energy. That's the main thing we do. We're always hyper and I think the adrenaline from performing only makes us that much crazier." Emery explains. I mindessly nod, glancing down at the ground.
"Okay, I think one more question, cause you guys are gonna do soundcheck again. Right?" She asks us.
"Yeah." We answer, waiting for her next and final question.
"Are you coming out with any new music soon?" She asks, making us look at each other.
"That we can't say. But I will say that whatever we do next is all for the fans. There might be new music. We don't really know yet." Liam says, Emery and I agreeing.
"Secrets, secrets." Candice smiles, making us laugh.
"Well, I'm not sure if you'd call them that, we're blabbermouths." I laugh, making Emery laugh harder than before.
"You good?" I ask laughing with him.
"Yeah. That was just funnier than it shoulda been." He chuckles, making me laugh.
"Thanks for hanging out guys. It was fun." Candice says smiling.
"Yeah, no problem. Thanks for having us." Emery smiles.
"Good luck tonight. I'm sure you'll kill it." She says to us.
"Thank you." I say to her. Our manager, Joby comes into the room, motioning for us to come with him. We follow him out to the hallway, talking about soundcheck as we walk to the car. Things couldn't be better for us right now. Well, at least I don't think they could. Yet again, anything is possible in Los Angeles.
