(Skylar's P.O.V)
After Ricky gets done on set, we walk down the street to a little cafe.
"I'm exhausted." He says, running his hand through his hair slowly.
"Me too. But I have to be back on set in an hour." I say, looking at my phone.
"Oh yeah. You have a night shoot tonight, don't you?" He asks smiling at me.
"I don't wanna go." I whine, leaning my head against my hand.
"You'll be fine, babe. At least it won't take as long for you to finish filming." He says smiling, taking a drink of his milkshake.
"True. I just don't wanna be out late tonight. I'm exhausted." I say, making him nod.
"I know you are. But you'll be okay. I know you can do it." He smiles, reaching across the table, grabbing my hand gently. I smile and nod, hearing his phone chime from his pocket.
"I'm needed back on set too." He says, reading the text message.
"I guess we better get going then." I say, checking the time for what feels like the hundredth time.
"I gotta go the other way." He says, grabbing my hand.
"Okay. Meet me back here when you're done?" I ask him.
"You got it. Maybe I'll sneak a golf cart and we can go for a drive." He smirks, making me giggle.
"Don't get in trouble." I smile, putting my arms around his neck.
"Never." He smiles, kissing my forehead gently.
"I'll see you after set." I say and he nods.
"I love you." He says softly.
"I love you too." I smile as he leans in, connecting our lips in a soft kiss.
"Ricky! Off we go!" Someone says excitedly, making us pull away.
"Have fun." I smile, kissing his cheek softly, turning and walking down to my set.(Ricky's P.O.V)
"Go the back way." I tell Gus, who speeds down the alley to the backside of the buildings.
"Which one is it?" He asks curiously.
"4." I say, changing into my normal shirt.
"Good luck." He says, stopping in front of building 4.
"Thanks. I'll let you know later." I say, hopping off the golf cart and running inside.
"Right on time." Gabe smiles at me, handing me the clapperboard and a piece of chalk.
"Thanks!" I say, stopping to write out the words.
"Lights out!" Joe says, closing the front door.
"Set light 1, dim." He says and a purple light turns on behind me.
"Here she comes." He says, jogging behind the set and hiding. I smile to myself and read over the words. The front door opens and I kneel behind the set desk, making sure to stay out of sight.
"Hello?" Skylar's voice calls out and I nod to the sound tech, who starts to play her favorite song.
"Okay, this isn't funny." She says and I smile, peeking above the table, standing up quietly and walking across the set.
"Hey." I say softly, making her look at me.
"Ricky? What are you doing here?" She asks smiling at me.
"Read this." I smile, holding the clapper in my hands.
"We can steal the show together. Prom?" She reads out loud, smiling halfway through.
"What do you say?" I ask smiling at her.
"Yes." She smiles, kissing me gently, her hand on my neck. I smile and kiss her back, putting my hand on her waist. We eventually pull away, my forehead resting against hers.
"I swear, that was the most clever way to ask anyone to a prom." She giggles softly.
"Well, we're both actors so it's perfect for us. For you, at least." I smile at her, her smile showing again.
"I loved it. I thought it was adorable. And I love you." She says smiling, wrapping her arms around my neck.
"I love you too." I smile, kissing her forehead softly.
"So wait, this is the date you had planned?" She asks curiously, looking around us.
"Exactly. And I may or may not have sent a text from Joe's phone saying you had to be on set at 9:00pm." I smile, making her laugh.
"You're a genius." She smiles, shaking her head.
"Maybe. Or maybe I just wanted my girl to say yes." I smile, making her blush.
"I would've said yes anyway you asked." She smiles, making me smile big.
"Well, I'm glad you said yes." I smile, putting my arms around her waist.
"You had nothing to worry about." She smiles, leaning up and kissing me, a little rougher than usual, which catches me off guard, but I kiss back. I keep my arms around her waist, pulling her closer to me. We pull away slowly, a different song starting to play.
"Seriously? This song?" She asks giggling.
"Yes! This song is perfect." I say smiling, making her look at me confused.
"How?" She asks curiously.
"You're my sweet little something." I say and she giggles softly.
"As cheesy as that was, I'll always be your sweet little something." She smiles, making my smil return.
"Good, my life would be pretty boring without you." I smile, making her smile up at me.
"I think mine would be too." She smiles, taking the board from my hands and sliding her hand in mine, walking with me out to the golf cart Gus drove over here earlier.
"So now where?" She asks, sliding into the passenger seat.
"How about to citywalk to the theater?" I ask her, pulling away from the parking spot.
"Okay." She smiles, snuggling into my arm.
"Oh, by the way, there's a present for you in the back." I smile, reaching behind me and grabbing the gift bag.
"You didn't have to buy me anything." She says, taking it from me.
"But I did. Open it babe." I smile at her, putting my hand on her leg.
"Ricky! You didn't have to buy this!" She says, opening the necklace I bought for her.
"But I did. You deserved it, and I refuse to not spoil you." I smile at her, making her smile.
"I really should kick your butt, but I suppose I can let it slide." She smiles, kissing my cheek softly.
"Seriously? There's more?" She giggles, looking in the bag.
"I told you, I loved spoiling you." I smile, pulling over and shutting the golf cart off.
"You didn't have to do this." She says smiling.
"I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to." I smile, taking the necklace from her and carefully untangling it from the box. She turns her back to me and I carefully put it around her neck, waiting for her to move her hair. Once she moves her hair, I fasten it, gently letting it fall against her neck.
"I love it." She smiles, looking at it in her phone camera.
"You're welcome." I smile, kissing her forehead softly.
"So when is you prom?" She asks curiously.
"It's in 2 weeks. And I planned on taking you dress shopping tomorrow." I say smiling at her.
"I can't let you buy everything." She says looking at me.
"Babe, its fine. I don't mind it." I smile, hearing her sigh.
"I know you don't. And I love that you always think of me, but you really don't have to buy everything. I'll buy my dress. You have a tux to worry about." She says smiling.
"So?" I smile, putting my arm around her shoulders.
"You're impossible." She says, finally giving in.
"Only because I love you." I smile at her, making her roll her eyes.
"I love you too, bozo." She says, laying her head against my shoulder as I start driving again. Skylar's phone starts ringing and she groans, making me smile softly.
"Everytime." She says, sliding the green button.
"Yeah?" She asks into the phone.
"I'm with Ricky. At Citywalk." Skylar says after a minute.
"Yeah. I'll be home later." She says, listening to the voice again.
"I can have Claire bring me home." She days into the phone.
"My mom can take you home." I tell her, making her nod.
"Yeah, either way I have a ride." She says to the person.
"Okay, bye." She says hanging up, unlocking her phone.
"Who was that?" I ask curiously.
"My mom. She had to go into work and was worried about how I'd get home." She says, making me chuckle.
"I got you." I smile, making her giggle.(A/N:
