"Is it the end of October already?" Hermione asked, coffee cup in hand. "Yes." Harry said. He sat down and poured himself some coffee. 

"I haven't told any of the other Aurors, but yes. There's a rumor circulating that this Wednesday night, at a Halloween party, a man named Terrence McAvoy will be there. 

Now, its said that McAvoy somehow managed to get the pieces of the elder wand and has them with him." Hermione's eyes widened. "Really? Well we need to get them back." 

"Yes, but we'll have to go alone." "Alone? To what?" Luna asked coming out of her room. Harry groaned,"Nothing Luna. Its just-" There was a knock at the door. "I'll get it." Hermione said.

-Mikes POV-

Hermione answered the door. She smiled when she saw me. "Nice haircut! Who's your friend?" "Alicia, she wanted to meet my parents." "Parents?" Hermione asked. "Yes." I winked. 

"Oh, well come right in." Hermione said. Alicia and I walked in to Hermione's apartment. Donny walked up to me and barked. "Who's this?" Alicia asked.

"This is Donny, the -ahem- family dog. Shake her hand Donny." Donny offered his paw, and Alicia shook it. Alicia smiled,"I see he's very well trained. Can you speak Donny?" BARK!

I turned to Harry,Hermione, and Luna in the kitchen and mouthed,"She's a muggle." They all nodded understanding. "Mother, when is father coming home?" "Father?" "Draco." I whispered.

"Oh! Any moment." Alicia sat down in the kitchen table and said,"This is a really nice place." "Oh, thank you dear." "Who are you two?" Alicia asked. 

Harry responded saying,"We're friends of Hermione." "Hermione? That's your mother's name?" Alicia asked me. "That's a beautiful name." "Thank you dear," She said smiling. "How was work?" Hermione asked. "Oh, fine." I said.

"Alicia's father is the best boss ever." "Really?" Asked Hermione, sitting down with all of us. "Yes, he pays far too much, and he has the nicest daughter." "Oh stop it Michael." She said pushing my arm.

My arm tingled a little after she pushed it. "Are you two together?" Alicia asked, pointing to Luna andHarry. "What? No!" Harry said. "I'm married." Harry said, pointing to his ring. 

"Yes, and I have a, uh friend." Luna said. "Is he like a friend, like Michael and I?" "I'm not sure, do you two-" "OOhhkay!" I said standing up,"My dad is going to be back in a little bit, but I wanna walk you to the park first before you meet him." 

"Oh alright." Hermione said sipping her coffee. "Be back in a sec mum. Donny!" Donny pranced up to my side,"C'mon you're coming with us." BARK! We left.

-Exit Mike's POV-

"I'm sorry who was that?" Harry said. "That's an orphan wizard boy Draco and I found stealing popcorn and confunding muggles. I decided to let him sleep on my couch each night." 

Harry looked at Hermione,"That's so kind of you." There was a knock on the door. "That's probably Draco." Hermione said standing up to get the door.

Draco and Pansy stood in the doorway. They walked in and Draco said,"Pansy and I are sick of Blaise's cooking and we decided to get some dinner from Luna, who I heard from Michael is great." 

"I'm sorry, who's Michael?" Pansy asked. "A kid Hermione took in. She's sweet like that." "Thanks!" Hermione said smiling. 

Harry looked at his watch and said,"Would you look at the time! Gin probably wants me home now." Hermione looked at her kitchen clock. "But its only 7:19." "Ah, women are damned lunatics!"
