Chapter 1.
“Damn it!” I swore throwing the remote at the boy laughing his ass off.
“Ow! Why’d you do that?” He complained.
“Because I’m mad at you!”
“You’re mad that I won the bet.” He said smirking
I took off my shoe and threw it at him, but missed by a few inches.
“Awe does someone need a hug.” He said talking in a baby voice still smirking.
I huffed got up from my chair and stormed to my room. This all started with a bet, a bet on our favorite sports teams. Of course it had to be the one time his team won. The bet was that whoever won could make the other do whatever they wanted for the next two months. I was in for hell because my best friend had one devious mind.
“Tyler.” He yelled up the stairs. Yeah my names Tyler and I’m a girl.
“What Casey.” I yelled back. I swear our parents confused our gender when they named us.
When he didn’t answer I sighed. I got up and stomped back into the room.
“What.” I snapped at him. Then I realized who was here.
“Oh, great.” I said sarcastically.
“What are you doing here?” Trish the head cheer bitch sneered at me.
“Yeah I could say the same for you because unlike some people I live here and I really don’t want herpes infested people in my home.” I said giving Casey a pointed look and he chuckled.
I looked at the rest of his friends and gave nod of acknowledgment which they returned. I felt a presence behind me but I ignored it for a moment focusing on Trish’s shocked face.
“Hey princess.” I turned and came face to face with my dad.
“Daddy!” I squealed. He picked me up gently and spun me around. He sat me down when my mom came in the room. I bounded over to her and she engulfed me in a hug.
“I’ve miss you so much Mom.” I whispered in her ear.
“I miss you every day dear. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about how you’re growing up without us.” She said sadly in my ear.
“It’s fine mom. You’re doing what you love and that’s good enough for me. You are happy and I am to so don’t worry about me.” I said trying to make her feel better. I gave her a reassuring smile.
You see both of my parents were famous. My mom was a famous fashion designer/ actress. My dad was an actor and a gymnast. They were gone a lot because of their jobs. That’s why I lived with Casey. My family and his just bought a house big enough for the two families and in a lot of ways it was just like having our own houses. The house was so big that if you wanted to you could fit of a thousand people in it and lose about half of them. Casey’s parents were gone a lot too. They both had jobs refusing to let my parents pay the enormous bills by themselves.
“We’re going to go find Sam and Karen.” My mother said. She and my dad gave me a kiss on the temple and left the room.’
