Standing on my legs, a bit wobbly, I sprint over to the hallway. There is a doorway.

I peek from the side to see what's there. Then I just walk inside.

There's a lone cat..? It has hair. And headphones?

Talking to itself?

Actually, it's singing.

Eh. I've hit my head hard so this should be expected.

I can make out a few words from the song..

"... still hold on? You cannot save anyo-" The cat saw me and stopped singing.

"Oh. It's a human. Hoi. My name is Tem, Tem the Temmie."

"Hi...! I heard your singing back there. It was pretty good."

The Temmie got mad. "What?! You heard my.. Ugh! In this world, it's kill or be killed! So don't get too close.." It ran off.

Jeez, anger issues...

I continued forward and saw a tall, fluffy figure coming forward. There wasn't much light so I couldn't make out a face.

"A human? Oh.. well, Howdy. I am Asgore, Keeper of the Ruins. Would you like to come to my house for tea?" A goat monster smiled.

"And what might be your name?"

"(Y/n)."

"Thank you, sir Asgore."

"Your welcome, child. Come now. I shall guide you through the catacombs."

I grabbed his paw(?) then he took me through a big purple room with two staircases. He took the right one so I decided to take the  left. But before I could continue walking, something caught my eye.

A sparkling yellow star was in the middle of the room. I moved closer to it. A black box appeared infront of me.

It showed different stats like my name, my LV-whatever that is-,  the area I am in and the time. Huh? How could it be 5:02 when I got here at like 10 pm? Oh well, I guess time flies by while I'm trying to.. you know.

There are two options on the lower half of the box. "Save" and "Return". I guess I'll save, whatever that means.

"Come on, (Y/n)! I'm gonna show you something!!" Austin miled brightly.

"What is it?" I giggled, sitting down beside him on the porch.

"It's a necklace. I want you to have it since I'm... leaving next school year.."

"Aww, you shouldn't have... Well, thanks.. for everything too..." I lay my head on his shoulder, tearing up a bit.

"Austin?" "Yeah?" "Can I have a hug?" "Yeah.."

---

"Child? Are you alright?" The sound of his voice broke my trance.

"Oh, yes.. Sorry. I zoned out for a bit."

"Are you sure you are alright?" There is a hint of worry in his voice.

"Yes sir Asgore. Nothing to worry about."

"Alrighty then. Come along." He disappeared into the next room above.

I continued upward.

I felt around if the necklace was still there. I sighed of relief. It was.

I went inside a room with a peculiar bunch of switches in it.
