(Okay, Jans! I'm givin ya some hope and determination this chapter!) (For a while at least.)

It's just before the school dance. I don't even know how but Nathaniel asked me right after class. He's friends with me too because we both like the same videogames and are major bully targets at school. He's cute and smart and has a sense of humor. He even sits with me at lunch even when no one wants to.

I wish JM never had to leave..

I'm wearing a short blue gown that covers my knees and has alot of fluff at the ends. I'm wearing my white Converse and have a white bow attached to my hair that's let down and curled. Yeah, I pretty much look like Alice from Alice in Wonderland but the movie takes place in 2017.

"You ready to go?" Nathaniel looked into my eyes. He was wearing a dark blue tux and pants with a white tie and black polo under to match me. He had Converse on aswell.

"Yup." I said as we walked into the big room.

There were already a bunch of people there, most of the popular girls too except Erin and her closer friends. She's the leader and I'm worried that something's gonna happen later because of her absence. The music is playing and others are already dancing.

"Wanna dance?" He asked.

"Sure." I grabbed his hand as he dragged me onto the dance floor. He started to dance that one dance from RWBY, a series we also like to watch and we both cried over Pyrrha's death. He was Jaune Arc and I was Pyrrha.

Except He wasn't wearing a dress and sneakers.

Then people started laughing.

I paused for a moment. "Why are they laughing?"

Nathaniel stopped aswell. He looked around. "I don't know? We're not the only one danci--" He snorted. "Oh, I'm sorry.. haha.." He facepalmed.

"What?"

"There's a note attached to your back saying 'What a Monster looks like when it's turning to dust'".

"Eh? What's funny about that?"

"Your clothes are all dusty." He starts chuckling.

".. I don't think that's very funny, Nath."

"Ah, I'm sorry.. pfft HAHAHA"

Everyone was laughing now.

Tears began to form in my e/c eyes.

"Y/n??? Human?! W-Why are you crying????!!!"

"Oh, (sniff) sorry.. I.. had a bad dream." I wiped my tears away with my sweater.

We were on a different snowy path.

"While you were awake?"

"Yes." I answered normally.

"Okay then. TO MY HOUSE AGAIN!!!" He started dragging me through the snow. Again.

"We're here!!!" He stopped causing me to fall over due to the speed he was running at, making an OOF! sound. Kind of the Roblox death sound.
