Part 4 ; Give up

Currently it's Kim Ssaem's time. She is the teacher for history.

Well, as i remember i never see a female be a history teacher so she's the first one. Maybe it's only me?


"Okay, kids make a group of four!" Teacher Kim seems to call the students as kids.

I feel like somebody staring at me, so i glance at my left and i got Yeeun who stares at me. With her hand, she says

"YOU, AND ME. AND THE REMAINING TWO, WHO?"

I'm giggling. Then i lean ny back to the chair and cross my arm.

"Well, i guess we should wait for the remaining." Then we're waiting while the other students are so loud to make their own group.

Then a girl approaches us, "Hey, both of you are still two, right?"

The girl have a well-arranged teeth, and the students often call her Gorani. Her name is Jung Yein, i guess. Correct me if i wrong.

Yeeun suddenly stands up, "Yes! Yes we're open for new member! Here, sit up Yein-ah!" Then Yeeun take a seat for Yein as Yein laughs.


So i'm right, she's Yein.

"I'm relieved, i think i'll have no group!"

"But you sometimes with Hyunjoo, right?" Yeeun asks.

"Ah, ofcourse! But i don't know why, the boys suddenly pulls her to be their part. You know, Hyunjoo is a pure girl so she can't reject it."

"Oh my, i wonder what will happened to Hyunjoo."

"Huh? That's Hyunjoo, right? She's with another girl too? Two boys and two girls." I'm pointing at Hyunjoo. I think i'm right that she's Hyunjoo.

Yeeun and Yein looks at where i point at. Then they're laughing.

And there is me who gets puzzled since i don't know why.

"So that's why they need Hyunjoo!" Yein laughs.

"Why? Why?" I started giggles as they're laughing.

"Well, that group is a blessing with the foreigner couple Vernon and Shannon, and Chanwoo alone.. Well, i guess Chanwoo would not understand Shannon and Vernon's talking so he needs angel Hyunjoo." Yeeun explains

"Poor me, so i'm not angelic as Hyunjoo on their eyes. Tsk tsk." Yein shakes her head.



And then we're in silent again while the other group are busy arranging their member. We only need one more student.


And, Gotcha. Seungkwan and Wooseok looks very confusedㅡno, Seungkwan looks very confused meanwhile Wooseok is just stay still. Kind of feel bad to Seungkwan because of their height difference.


But in fact, i'm not that tall too.


And Seungkwan looks like he's pointing at a group, he jumps once and he quickly runs into the group, meanwhile Wooseok started to confused since he's the remaining one who doesn't get group.


Kim Ssaem's eagle eye scanning our class, searching for any group that still three.

And her eyes stopped on our group.

Kim Ssaem points at our group. Wooseok glances at out group and sighs. He talks with Kim Ssaem for quite long. Maybe he's negotiating. Because we are all girls and it means he's the only boy in our group.

We're still keep silent and seeing Wooseok negotiates with Kim Ssaem, while Kim Ssaem shaking her head and tell Wooseok to quickly approaches our group.


Wooseok sighs and he walks into our group.

He take a seat in our group.

"Welcome, customer Jung. Enjoy your stay here." Yeeun says as she do a bow on her chair.

Wooseok scoffs, "How can at the end i'm stuck with you again."



"Okay, kids! I'm going to give you guys a task. Finish it and submit to me tomorrow! Where's the class leader?"

Hyunkyung stands up as he lift his hand. How can i immediately know that he's Hyunkyung? Because he's handsome and looks the coolest. Don't blame me for that.

Kim Ssaem offers the papers to Hyunkyung. Then, Hyunkyung give the paper for each group.

He offers the paper to Yein, and we quickly peeks at the questions.


Three of us only nodding, as we slowly peeks into Wooseok who is secretly looking at the questions too.

"What? I don't want to." Wooseok seems to understand what they mean.

"Jung Wooseok.." Yein breathes.

"Well, we all know that you're the smartest among all."

"Except me, i don't really know how smart he is." Then there is me.

Yeeun quickly stares at me, "Oh, okay. Hey, you look so smart, though!" I'm quickly correcting my words.


Wooseok smirks, "Yein, help me to find other answers on the book. Yewon you write down the answers. Yeeun... You... You're useless how can we do?"

Yeeun smiles, "It's up to you, Wooseok-Ssi."

Wooseok scoffs, and laughs.

"Here we go, you always been good to me if you have something!"

"Jang Yeeun, just help Yewon writes the answers. You're number one until ten and Yewon for eleven until twenty." Wooseok says.

"Okay, sir!" Yeeun make a polite pose.

"Okay, kids. My time is over." Kim Ssaem is ready to out from the class. Meanwhile, Yewon's writing skill suddenly increasing. She's stomping her feet.

"Wait, wait, waitt!" Yewon screams in a low voice.

"Ye-Yewon-ah! You can do it! Come on!" Yein cheers her up.

Kim Ssaem already gone in their eyes. Yewon quickly stands up and ready to run, chasing Kim Ssaem.


"Ssaem!!" Yewon is about to running, and then Wooseok hold her arm.

Yewon glances at Wooseok, "What are you doing!? We're late!"

Wooseok only look at Yewon with a poker face.

And then Yewon take a look at Yeeun, who shows the same expression too. Except Yein, she's 20% panic as Yewon.

"Huh?"

"Tomorrow, Yewon-ah. Tomorrow." Yeeun says.

It's a total silence for two seconds.

"A..Ah! Yes i just remember.. We have to submit it tomorrow.." Yein slaps her forehead lightly.

"A...Aaaish-" Yewon then quickly go back to her seat.

"How can i'm not listening Kim Ssaem." Yewon shakes her head. And Wooseok nods.


"Because you're.."

Wooseok aims his forefinger to Yewon's forehead.

"Babo. Not as smart as me." Wooseok flicks his forefinger to Yewon's forehead.

"Ah!" Yewon flench a little bit. Then she sighs, "Whatever you want, Seok!"

"Okay, i'm out! Bye!" Yein stands up and about to go back to her seat.

Yewon and Yeeun waves lightly to her, "bye!"

So do Wooseok, he go back to his seat that only about 50cm in the Yewon's right side.

'Hey, Won. Lets go home!" Yeeun says as she walks along Yewon. They stand up from their chair and about to left the class.

Wooseok is still there, he's packing his things on his bag and Yuto is waiting him on the class' door as he plays with his ball. They want to play soccerball, maybe.

Yewon and Yeeun walks together and when they're surpassing Wooseok, Yeeun lift her hand to Wooseok's hair and she pull his hair.

"Bye, Seok!" Yeeun says as she pulls Yewon's arm and walks faster.

"Ah- Ya!" Wooseok yells, but Yuto let Yeeun and Yewon who runs pass him.

Yuto lift up his hand to Wooseok like "Not my business, not my business."

Wooseok scoffs, "Wah, Yaa-"



Yeeun and Yewon chuckles as they walking down through the downstairs.

"Ahah do you see his face?!" Yewon laughs.

"I know right? His face oh my hahahah!"

Then as they walk down the stairs, their walks become slower. Yeeun and Yewon pass the canteen and Yewon stops.

"Hey, i want to buy some cola. I'm thirsty." Yewon says as she rubs her neck.

Yeeun nods, "Hm, i want to buy some mochi, too!"

Then these two walks to the canteen and they met Yein again who is playing with her laptop, with a headset on her ears.

"Ah! That's Yein!" Yewon points at her while Yeeun offering the money to the seller.

"Huh? Oh, you're right. Better we sit with her for a while, then!"

Then Yewon and Yeeun walks into Yein, "Hey! Yeeeingg!"

Yein, who is busy with her laptop, auddenly surprised, "Ah! You guys, you surprised me."

Yein released her earphone. Yewon is focused on Yein's laptop. She's looking at her laptop's screen.

"Uh? Dance video? Is that you, Yein?" Yewon asks.

Yein smiles, "Yes! That's me. I'm going to publish my dance video."

Yeeun giggles, "Just like Jung Yein usually do!"

"Hey, but this time is different. I make my own choreography." Yein says proudly.

"What? Is that true? You're so dooopee!" Yewon can't stop wow-ing Yein.

Yein can't help but smile shyly, "But i'm not as good as her."

Yeeun sighs, "Hey! You're in the different level! You're much better than her, in my opinion."

"She? Who?" Yewon curious about who is she.

Yeeun only Tsk-ing.

"Well, she's the girl who felt like she's this school's controller. She felt like she's the queen eho needs to be respected here."

"Well, she's the girl i hate so much, she's.."


"WOW WOW WOW! Calm down kids! That's a forbidden name!" A deep voice comes out nowhere. Turns out, that's Yuto who brings his soccerball and approaches the girls. Wooseok is walking following him.

Yeeun's word has to stopped since Yuto came. She sighs, since she always mad if it's come to she.


Wooseok randomly pull Yeeun's hair. Yeeun flinched and she autpmatically grab her hair, "Hey!"

Wooseok laughs, and then Yuto and Wooseok take a seat in front of the girls.


"Especially her boyfriend, that's a taboo name." Yuto continues.

"Well, why?" Yewon asks.

Yuto glances at Yewon for a second, "well, i think it's a no-no to announce her name on whenever we are. Shortly, who knows if she have some servants who hear us?" Yuto says.

Yeeun giggles, she likes this side of Yuto.

"Okay, then who is she?" Yewon can't control her patient. She's so curious.

"How can you're so enthusiast to talk about that girl?" Wooseok looking at Yewon unbelieveably.

"Well, because i'm... Curious?" Yewon chuckles.

"Okay, i'll explain it to you! This is a forbidden topic as i say, okay." Yuto talks with a serious faceㅡin fact, he doesn't need to make a serious face like that.

Yewon nods cheerfully, "Yes!"

Yuto take a breathe, "So, she's known as the dancing queen of our school. She's so arrogant, she considered herself as this school's queen, and her gang is the most popular woman gang in this school. Her gang always win the daesang of the best gang of the year in this school, indeed." Yuto explains.

"Okay, okay who is her name?"

Yuto looks around, just in case there would be nobody who listen him. But in fact, if there are someone, Yewon, Yeeun or Yein would be already told him. So, Yuto always been like this.

Yuto move his body forward to Yewon. Yewon automatically moves forward too.

Yuto half whispers to Yewon.

"Her name is..."








"Hwang... Eunbi."




Yewon nods lightly, and make an "aah..." gestures. Because even though Yuto tell the name, she still doesn't know Hwang Eunbi anyway.


"Done?" Wooseok who is laying his head on the canteen's table, asks Yuto without any spirit.


Yuto nods as he lift his eyebrows too.

"Then, who's her boyfriend?" Yewon still remember that Yuto said her boyfriend.

Yuto make a reaction that he almost forgot about it. Both Yeeun and Wooseok have no interest. For Yein, she'd choose to make herself busy with her video editing.

"Well, she have her king that just the same with her. He thinks that he's the actual king here, and he really loves to being respected by the title Dancing King."

Yewon nods but she raise her eyebrows. She only wants to know their name.

Yuto seems to know what does Yewon means. So he quietly whispers again to Yewon.


"Well, he's the man Wooseok hates sooo much."





"Kang... Hyunggu."

Yewon nods lightly. She feels like it's a deja vú. Is it only her who felt like that?


"Ah.. Why does Wooseok hates him so much?" Yewon asks.

"No doubt, Wooseok really hates him, indeed." Yeeun nods.

"Jung Wooseok, i give you permission to explain to Ms. Yewon about your relationship with Kang Hyunggu."

Wooseok cringes, "Oh, Man. This kind of talking isn't my style!"

"Hey, bro! Talking these isn't make you sick at all, though. Besides, it releases my stress. Not so bad." Yuto replies.

"Okay okay guys how about me? It's my turn." Yeeun replies.

"Okay, Wonie. Story begins." Yewon nods sweetly.

"Hmm, well. First, both of them already have a big problem with Hyunggu. That's why if someone call Yuto or Wooseok, their memories would automatically remember Hyunggu."

"Hey, wait wait! How can you say that?" Wooseok interrupts.

Yeeun scoffs, "Because both of you didn't popular at all so since both of you already make a problem with Hyunggu, which is popular, of course they will automatically remember Hyunggu when it comes to you." Yeeun explains as she chuckles.

"Ugh, just up to you, Jang Yeeun." Yuto says with his deep voice.

"Okay, i'll continue. So, first, i want to tell Yuto's first. Yuto once ever kick a ball right into Hyunggu's waist in the school's soccerfield."

Yewon surprised, "Is he did it on purpose or what?"

"Of course he did it on purpose! Hyunggu was recording a dance video with his dance gang. Moonbin, Yoo Taeyang sunbae and Park Minhyuk, our junior."

Yewon opened her mouth, "Wow, i can't believe Yuto did it for real."

"Tsk, wait wait wait!" Yuto waves his hand.

"I'll clear this. So, i did it on purpose, indeed. But that's his fault! He said he's going to use the soccerfield for a minutes but in fact, he used it for more than thirty minutes already! Besides, my team needs to practice because we're going to have a match next week." Yuto explains in a mad voice. His deep voice really scares Yewon, plus his expression that seems to reflect hates so much.

"Plus, how can it takes more than thirty minutes to make a three minutes dance video? Kare wa hontoni dansusukuru no odearunaraba, naze kanojo wa sore ga kanpeki ni dekinai nodesu ka?! Hyunggu wa sore no tame ni renshu shite inai baai wa?!"


Yuto's japanese accidentally comes out since he's mad.

And then there's Yein, Yeeun and Yewon who can't close their mouth listens to Yuto's mad Japanese.

Wooseok pats Yuto's back, "Calm down, bro. Calm down."

Then Yuto glances at Wooseok. Both of them smirks, and they randomly dabs together.


And then there's Yeeun and Yein who facepalm-ing themself.

"Well, If he's really this school's dance king, then why he can't make it perfectly? Did he didn't practice for that?" Yuto translates.

"Then? What happened next? You kick him with a ball in purpose, so there might be a punishment, right?" Yewon asks.

Yuto nods lightly, "I was suspended for seven days for that. Heol. If that was'nt Hyunggu but other students, maybe i'll got suspended only for three days." Yuto sighs.

Yewon make a confused face. Yuto who is looking at Yewon's expressions, he continues.

"It's a money and position game, Won." Wooseok cut Yuto's chance to explains. Yuto who already open his mouth, ready to speak is suddenly stay still.

Yewon's focus changes into Wooseok.

"Hyunggu's father is a former principle here. He quits two years ago, it means he's out one year before that accident." Wooseok continues.

"Well, what's the problem? He's already former, anyway?" Yewon asks.

"The fact that Mr.Kang is a former principle is right, but he quits and he continue his main business, which is.. Invests land." Yeeun talks this turn.

"And then... What's the relation?"

Yeeun chuckles, "Well, Mr.Kang invests a land and some of our school's land were his lands." Yeeun says as she looking at Yuto.

Yewon make an "Aa~" expression, while Yuto only make a flat face.

"In the end, Yuto is a boy who is fooly brave." Yein responds.

"What? How can you say that?" Yuto defends.

Yein looks at Yuto, and she rolls her eyes, "Okay, you're brave enough to fight Kang Hyunggu who is so arrogant, dancing king and annoying. But in the other side, you're so fool that the whole school's field is one of Mr.Kang's land."

Yewon laughs, "Oh my that's so wow!"

"And, next, next! What about Wooseok?" Yewon laughs.


"Me and Hyunggu are originally rival." Wooseok replies.

"Everybody knows that i'm the smartest kiddo and Hyunggu is the best dancer. So we're a rival. Get it?" He continues.

Yewon bewildered, and then she shakes her head.

Wooseok sighs, "Hey, one of you, just tell her."

"He's not really lie, well, Hyunggu once liked Chaewon sunbae. But, Chaewon sunbae interested with Wooseok. Poor Hyunggu." Yuto explains.

"Ah, really? Then what happened next?"

"Well, i don't know anything more since Chaewon sunbae graduated. Not long time after that, Hyunggu dates Eunbi." Yuto continues.

"Well, this is the risk of being a handsome people i should take responsibility of, indeed."

Yuto who plays with his ball, purposely throw the ball to Wooseok's head.

"Hey!" Wooseok yells.

Yuto only look at him with a flat face. After that, he dabs towards Wooseok.
