Author's note:
Sorry for the wait, I was a little busy, we are painting our house at the moment and it is a little chaotic xD anyways, back to the story.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Oh my god, I've killed Dennis. UGH what am I going to do?! I can't just leave him here, someone will find him! My finger prints are all over him and so is my blood... Maybe I could drag him to a river, hit him on the head with a rock, and push him in. It will look like he hit his head while swimming! He goes there all the time with his friends! Is is perfect.
As I dragged his body to the river, clouds started rolling in, making it dark and cold. I dragged him to the river that is near the town, but far away enough that no one will see me doing the deed. As we arrive, I notice someone in the distance. Crap... Ill just walk farther down so they don't see me. As I'm walking back, I hear a voice call me name.
"HEY PARAGON!!!" Said the person in the distance.
The voice sounded familiar...
"Oh no.." I said, realizing it was the sound of Dylan's voice.
Not now. Not here. She can't see me with him. With this blood on my hands. Ugh. Maybe she will understand? I have no choice but to hope she does because she is running towards me.
"Paragon, why weren't you at sch-OH MY GOD IS THAT-mmmhpppphhmm" she yelled as I covered her mouth.
"Shhhh. Yes, it is Dennis, yes, he is dead, yes, I am trying to dump him, yes, there is an explanation, no, I don't really have time to explain." I told her with a serious look.
She nodded and she helped me drag Dennis to the water. I'm so glad that she was willing to help me. I was worried she would tell, and that I would be forced to kill her as well.
As we got to the water, I grabbed a rock and told Dylan to not look. I hit his over the head with a rock so there was a wound indicating he had lost consciousness and drowned. We pushed him into the river, I threw the rock in, too, and ran off. We ran to my house, and when we got there, my mom's car was gone. I made a sigh of relief and we both made our way upstairs.
If my mom came home, she wouldn't be suspicious that there was someone in my room since we are both girls. I told her to wait in my room as I took a shower, since I was covered in dirt and in blood. I got out and changed into a different pair of pants, new shirt, different pair of gloves, and a jacket. I walked out to find Dylan staring out the window.
"Hey, let's go down stairs and burn my clothes. That way they don't have any evidence."
"Okay" Dylan replied, stepping away from the window, and following me downstairs.
There was a long moment of silence. I was worried that she was scared. If they caught me, I would say she had nothing to do with it. I didn't want her getting hurt. I never wanted to cause her any discomfort. She was tough, I know that for a fact, but she is very fragile as well.
"Are you okay? I'm sorry if that scarred you." I said, turning a little red.
"No, it was fine. I still don't know why you would do that though..." She said looking into the fire.
"I guess I should tell you." I said.
"Yeah"
"So, I was waiting at the bus stop, like usual, and he came up. He asked if I had any money, and I said no. He then pulled a knife on me. A very sharp knife. He chased me for almost a mile. He caught up to me and he held me, pressing the knife up against my chest. He pressed it so hard that I started to bleed." I explained, lowering my shirt, revealing my cut. "I then slipped of my gloves, and touched him. I for some reason couldn't let go. I just held on to him. Watching him twitch. I saw the pain in his eyes, and it just filled me with anger and sadness all at once. I wanted to let go, but I just couldn't. I felt like I was being controlled.." I stopped talking, realizing that I had tears running down my face.
"It's okay, I mean, your safe now." Dylan said, moving from he seat and sitting next to me on the couch. "I'm sorry that happened, I had no idea.."
She wrapped her arms around me and held me tight. A lot of things were running through my head, but when she held me, everything stopped. I could feel myself turning red, and I felt embarrassed. I looked at her, and she looked at me. We started at each other, and I she started to blush as well. We the both lean forward and close our eyes. Our faces getting closer, until...
*SLAM*
We both jump up, out of fear. I look around, expecting to see some police, when my mom came around the corner.
"Oh Paragon! I'm so sorry for slamming the door, I kinda tripped on my way in. Who is your little friend?" She asked looking at Dylan.
Dylan and I looked at each other, we were both blushing, and we looked at my mom.
"Oh, come on. Why you being so shy?" She turned to Dylan and stook out her hand. "Hello there, my name is Diandra, Diandra Webb."
"Oh, hi. My name is Dylan." Dylan said, shaking my mom's hand.
"So I see you girls started a fire, I understand with all the cold." My mom then walked into the kitchen. "Welp, I'm gonna unwind. Hope up don't mind!" She said, grabbing a beer and walking up to her room.
I put the last article of clothing in the fire and we once again sat in silence. After about 5 minutes of silence, Dylan finally spoke.
"So... What would you like to do after we finish the fire?"
"Just sit here." I replied, looking straight into the fire.
Dylan moved back to where she was sitting right before my mom slammed open the door. She wrapped her arms around me once again, and held me tightly. I started to blush once again.
"I'm sorry I dragged you into this" I told her.
"It's fine." She whispered, stroking my arm.
I turned and looked at her once again, and stared at her beautiful eyes. They shined in the fire, they were practically glowing. She looked back at me, and started to blush as well.
"Your eyes..." I whispered. "They are beautiful."
"I was just admiring yours." She whispered back.
We once again lean towards each other and close our eyes. We leaned in closer and closer, until we finally kiss.
"Woah." I said backing away.
The fired dies, and we walk back up to my room.
