Two Ways: Life Or Death

Chapter eleven

Emily, Jemma, Lily and Lexi came to the steps in which Jemma and Emily had climbed up for the first time only a few days ago.

"Um, why are we here?" Asked Jemma

"Cause we're going down to the ground." Said Lexi shrugging

"But aren't we going to train." Asked Jemma as they began to go down the steps

"We are." Answered Lily

"So why are we going down here???" Jemma asked getting annoyed

"Okay then." Giggled Lexi finding annoyed Jemma amusing "The training grounds are on the ground."

"But when we came here there were only little cottages."

"Well you're wrong there's more than little cottages." Said slither

"There were definitely only little cottages before." Said Twig

"You can believe that but I will prove you wrong."

They had arrived at the end of the steps. As they walked through a door, a grin appeared on Jemmas face

"Told you so! There are only little cottages." She said

"Wow!" Said Lexi sarcasticly

"Why are you still not believing me, the evidence is right there infront of your eyes!"

"Look again Jemma." Said Lexi.

Jemma turned round to look at the little cottages but where they used to be was now a perfect training ground.

There was an obstacle course, a pond for swimming, a big sand pit, targets for practising archery, straw and wooden dummies all where there used to be cottages.

"Wow!" Said Emily blinking while Jemma just stood gaping at everything.

"Who's right now." Snickered Lexi in a kind way

"Guess you're right." Grumbeled Jemma

"How for you do it?" Asked Emily

"Magic!" Explained Lily

"You're not supposed to tell anybody!" Shouted Lexi

"I doesn't matter now." Said Lily "What we have to do now is get training, we only have a few hours left before it gets dark."

"What do we start on?" Asked Emily

"Well there's the climbing wall,  where using poles you need to climb over, the pond for swimming, sand pit for practising stepping lightly to not leave tracks in the dirt, straw dummies to fight against or against somebody else, archery practise or balacing on a barrel." Lily said

"That's great I think I'll go for the balacing on a barrel I need to practise my balance." Said Emily

"Is there anything else?" Asked Jemma

"You can parctise under water breathing through a straw?" Suggested Lily

"Yeah I'll do that."

"I'll practise sand walking and covering trails." Said Lexi

"Do you think one of you could help me with the barrel?" Asked Emily

"I'll help you." Said Lily smiling warmly

"But before you do anything you need to stretch and warm up." Said a voice. Then Erynor the blonde elf appeared grining. "Mama Costa told me you'll be here."

"Hi Erynor." Said the four girls in unison.

"I fought you should know to stretch before you start." He said mockingly
