"What has the world done to you?" I snapped back to the chilling form of Butler. Since Ethan had told us how he used to work for Team Magma I had figured he wanted to get his vengeance on Maxie and such, but what had the world done to him that was so bad?

"Questions, questions, Birch." I rolled my eyes and hit the back of my head onto the wall. "All in good time." He walked over to the egg and I felt my mind throbbing.

"Hello?"

"Huh? What was that?" I grabbed Butlers attention? He walked over to me and knelt down as I pretended to feel my forehead.

"What's wrong? Is it your mind?"

"No it's your breath?" I laughed and grabbed my forehead again, crying out in fake pain. "Seriously, my head is killing me! Is it Jirachi?"

"I suspect it is. Maybe it is trying to communicate with you." Mr Obvious here really is the best scientist ever isn't he. My dad would have so much fun with him. "The egg, he must be waking up."

"What gave it away?" I snapped back with a quick smirk. The egg started to glow and I knew I had to act fast, first I needed to get out of these restraints though. How? Is a good question. I quietly struggled until I my wrists started to slowly slip through the badly set up chains. This guy clearly was not a full time baddie, plus a friend showed me how to do this on my travels. Clever girl.

"Thank you, Moon." I whispered quietly to myself as I snuck slowly to the egg Butler was analysing. I needed a weapon or something if this was going to work, I scanned the room myself and grabbed a large book. Yes, it's a hard copy.

"Abra, confusion." Butler said, his eyes still fixed onto the egg which started to glow in front of him. My head started to ring with pain and I fell to the floor in agony. "Thats enough."

My head stopped hurting and I opened my eyes to a pleased Butler. "That really hurt." I mumbled to him. "Oh man."

"Don't bother trying to escape, it's not worth your time."

"Yeah I figured that out."

"Children."

"I'm nearly 19?" I stood up and I could fell the Abra breathing down my back. I was trapped with or without restraints and since the Pokemon could read my mind making plans would be pointless.

"Now, sit down and watch like a good boy." I did as he said. My head hurt enough as it was. "You can't awaken yet, its too early. You have to be at full power for the transfer to be complete." Butler snapped at the obviously unresponsive egg. "This must be a surge of some kind."

"That depends on the type of Pokemon it is? I am guessing it's a steel and psychic because of the colours on the egg and my headache. If the steel is taking in energy then the psychical attacks must be its way of expelling it." I explained confidently.

"Whatever..." Who's the child now? "Now be quiet, I am thinking."

"You do realise this is insane? I mean, trying to create another Groudon, there is only suppose to be one for a reason!" No amount of logic would stop this man as he simply laughed off my explanation.

"Such nonsense." This guy is worse than my old type teacher at Pokemon school. "You can't talk me out of my plan."

"What about Diana?" His hands formed into fists and his head turned to me in a deathly glare. Wrong move Birch. "She didn't look to up for your ridiculous plan."

"Shut up."

"I mean, you clearly like each other. I knew the way she looked at you, it was the same way May looked at me. Why don't you just forgot all this and go home to her."
