chapter 5 - the wings of freedom

I fastened the belts to my ODM gear and check it thoroughly to make sure everything was in order.

I slid my (h/c) hair behind my ears to get it out of my face as I buckled the last belt.

I heard Isabel shouting across the room, "levi-bro we need to go!"

I still cant believe we are going ahead with this plan, everything seems off.

we ran down the street to get ready to put our plan into action.

"we gave confirmation on Jan, he is in a first-rate hospital" Farlan said as we ran down the streets of the under ground. "the identity of the man is also confirmed, this job is the real thing...... are we gonna do it Levi?"

we all stared at levi to wait for his response, as he kept a straight face.

flash back to the surface.

We began to walk back toward the underground, but the old man stopped us with words,

"I'll tell you one thing, whether or not you accept this job, the target will make contact,"

what does he mean by this, we all just stared up at the man in the carriage.

"in other words you can't stay unrelated in this matter..."

End of flash back

Levi turned a corner without saying a word.

Isabel stopped running, "Bro?"

He turned around to face us all, "just carry on as normal, but if they appear, just like we said they would, we'll start the job."

small time skip to their arrival,

we all did as levi told us, just to continue as normal, we activated our ODM gear and intercepted some merchants, knocking over their crates to reveal what was inside, we other members grabbed what they could before running back to HQ.

Me and Isabel caught up to farlan and Levi who were already a head, I looked across to my sister as smiled, we returned the smile then set off some new reel, "YAHOOOOOOOO" I heard her scream.

"I looked behind me to reveal a small group of others using ODM. those are the guys that the man told us about!

"Levi! they at here!" I shouted to him he turned back and nodded. 

"haven't the military police learnt their lesson yet? oh well." Isabel's face lit up in excitement.

two people in cloaks rushed ahead of the rest.

we adjusted the setting on our gear allowing us to make a quick stop, the two people in cloaks shot ahead, obviously they weren't as skilled but still more skilled than the MP's, but soon turned around and was after us again, but we were already far ahead of them.

Farlan went ahead to levi, "those moves! they  aren't the military police!"

Levi's face became slightly more focused, "yeah, there is no doubt now..."

His eyes narrowed, "its them, that crest on their cloaks, the wings of freedom, It's the survey corps!"

They were now back on our tails.

Farlan laughed "well there differnet as expected, well they do fight titans!"

levi remained focused, "you guys know what to do right?"

we all nodded, then went off to get in place.

I went off in the direction I was told, one member followed me, now let me see how good the survey corps really are!
