Chapter 35 - Christmas in Cali

Keane's POV

It was Christmas Eve and I was led out on the sofa, staring out the window at the sea. I have to admit the spot on the beach was awesome, I noticed some houses for sale along here too (Hmmm, I wonder). The tree was up and decorated and we'd already put some presents under it,

"We're going for a walk on the beach" Arii declared coming into the sitting room,

"Have fun" I said,

"You're coming too" She said,

"Arii, really, crutches and sand...they don't mix too well"

"Tough", she flounced out,

"Is it just me or has she got hell of a lot bossier lately" I said,

"She definitely has" Tayte agreed,

"Well why don't you do something it about it, you're her boyfriend"

"Yeah and you're her brother" He retorted. Damn. He smiled, Noah then walked in,

"Heard about this walk were going on?" He said,

"Yep, heard that I'm not going?" I said, he smiled,

"It is going to be funny to see" Noah laughed,

"It isn't because I'm not going", Mum and Dad then walked in,

"Go and get ready, we're going on a walk along the beach" Mum said,

"With crutches, I don't think so, I'm just going to chill here" I replied,

"I understand that it will be difficult, but your sister really wants us all to go", I groaned, and hauled myself up. The things I flaming well do for my sister, Tayte and Noah smiled at me, but got up too,

"We're leaving in 5 minutes" Dad said, as we left the room.

"Can you get me my jacket?" I asked Noah, he nodded and ran up the stairs. I stood looking out the massive window at the sea.

Could I really imagine myself living here?

With the sea at our feet and the warm weather, blue skies?

With all the celebrities and new people?

Ariiayla's POV

This was amazing.

The whole family together walking along the beach, well Keane was kind of sinking in the sand, his crutches I mean. But it was pretty warm and there was a light breeze and the waves were rolling in.

"I really can't wait to move here" I said to Mum and Dad, who smiled at me,

"And we can't wait to have our family all together again" Dad said,

"So you think that Noah and Keane will move with us?"

"I don't know sweetie, I would like to say yes, but I don't know" Mum told me, I looked back at my brothers and boyfriend, talking and laughing.

I really needed them to come; they couldn't be all the way in England whilst I was here in America. But that would be selfish of me, I wanted them to be happy, so if that meant them staying in England then...then that would be okay. (As much as I want to think that, I couldn't, my brothers and Tayte were my life).
