Chapter 16: Crazy

V’s POV

It’s been a week since J-hope was in a car crash and still didn’t wake up yet. I was on my way to the hospital. I still prayed for him, he was going to wake up, i knew it. I came to the hall where his room were, and heard loud screaming, and banging coming from J-hope’s room. I ran towards it, and grabbed the handle but it was locked. I ran to the window to his room, and saw J-hope running around and crashing everything while screaming. The doctors tried to grab him but failed multiple of times. I started banging on the window, and one of the two doctors came out of the room, while the rest of Bts came running towards me. I saw J-hope looking at me through the window, but then started screaming again and throwing stuff again. “What is going on?” Jimin said out of breath because of the running. “We think it’s a malfunction in his brain” The doctor said. I looked at him, while he was ruining stuff. “Can i talk to him?” I asked. “We don’t know if it’s a good idea that he is with anyone right now” The doctor said. “Please i need to speak to him” I begged. “I’m sorry, but you have to wait. We are afraid of what he could do. And also he is scared of people being too close to him, his mother tried to calm him earlier but she got pushed away, like he was scared of her. We just need to run some more test on him, but it’s just really hard right now” He replied, and went back to the room. “Let’s go to your house, we can’t do much right now” Jin said. “No! I will stay. I won’t go back!” I nearly screamed. “Hey, it’s okay” Jimin said, and rested his hand in my shoulder. “No it’s not… You go back, i will wait here” I said, and sat down on one of the waiting chairs. They all nodded and left, except for Jimin. He came towards me and sat down beside of me. “mwo haneun jung-iya?” (A/n note: If you don’t know it means What are you doing? / 뭐 하는 중이야) I asked Jimin. “I can’t just leave you here….” He said, and gave me a smile. I smiled back, and layed my face in my hands. “It’s okay” He said, and started patting my back. “Thank you” I whispered to him loud enough so he could hear it. “For what?” He asked. “Just….. Everything. Jin-jja-yo” I said. and looked at him, and gave him a tight hug. I could feel him smiling in my shoulder. “Everything for my best friend” He said, and i smiled.

It was a few hours later, and we were alone in the hall. The doctors left J-hope’s room, and Jimin were sleeping. I decided to go to J-hope’s room. “Unlocked. Yes!” I whispered to myself and went inside. He was sleeping. I didn’t want to wake him up so i just sat besides of him and looked at him. Oh how i missed him. I started singing one of our favorite songs to listen to when we were together, and he woke up. He looked at me, and then my arm which were touching him, and back at me terrified. I quickly lifted my arm up, and said “It’s okay, i’m not gonna hurt you” He looked at me with a confused look. “V?” He asked. “Yeah, you remember. Your boyfriend” I said, and smiled. He smiled back. “I’m sorry” I said. He looked at me confused again. I leaned closer to J-hope, trying to kiss him. He then leaned closer to me and our lips met. At first it was wonderful our tongues were finally intertwined again, but then he quickly gasped and moved his head back in a fast speed. “I’m sorry, i guess it’s true. You can’t be too close to anyone?” I said. “I’m sorry, i really love you, but i don’t know i just can’t” He said, and looked down. “Hey, it’s okay, i won’t force you” I said. He looked back at me, and grabbed his hair, hard with his hands. “Hey, what is it?” I asked worried. He then covered his ears, and started to scream. “Yah! J-hope, what is it. Please answer me!” I screamed at him, while running towards the button to call for help. Doctors came running in the room, and grabbing J-hope while on of them tried to stab him with a syringe. “What’s happening?” Jimin asked while running towards me. Another doctor came in and asked us to go out, but i felt like i couldn’t move. It was like i was frozen. “V!?” Jimin shouted in my face, trying to get me out of the room. He somehow got me out. It was like i couldn’t remember anything after J-hope started screaming. “Oh my gosh, what just happened?” I asked Jimin, while one of the doctors came out. “What happened to my boyfriend?!” I kinda screamed at the doctor. Jimin grabbed my shoulders and tried to calm me down, but failed. “The hit from the car was really hard, it hit something in his brain, and turned it around. He is okay, but he just have some outbreaks, it can be fixed. How? We don’t know yet. But he can get home in a few days, and he shouldn’t be alone. We are scared of what he can do, when he gets these outbreaks. Some of them are really bad, like you saw earlier. He ruined everything and pushed everyone away, also because he can’t get touched, it’s like he is scared, but that can be fixed too. But then there are small one, like where he doesn’t do anything else than covering his ears. We don’t know if his case can be fixed. But we have had another patient who was a little like him, but he is completely fine now. But again we don’t know if J-hope can, since the other patient wasn’t as bad as his case. Is there a family member i can get to fill the report for me?” The doctor explained. “Not a family member, but i’m his boyfriend” I said, and looked at the doctor, at first he was really surprised, but then said “Okay, please follow me” “Be right back” I whispered to Jimin and he nodded.

When i came back i saw Jimin sitting on his phone. I looked in the room where J-hope was. He was sitting and looking around his surroundings he looked so confused and so lost. Why did this happen? Because of me… I sighed and Jimin looked at me. “You okay?” He asked. “How would i be okay?” I asked. He looked at me and gave me a sorrowful look. “Let’s just go…” I said, and Jimin followed me out of the hospital.

“It’s okay Taehyung, he is gonna be okay again” Jimin said trying to comfort me. “What if he won’t?” I asked. “He will, he is strong and he loves you” Jimin said and hugged me. “We just have to wait” He said and gave me a big smile. “Let’s go to your house, okay?” He asked me and i nodded.
