Chapter 17

Ember put her key in the door and she felt someone behind her. She turned around to see Finn.

"Balor, tell me something." She opened the door so they could come in. She closed the door and locked it. "You told Roman I let you stay here?"

"Something like that yes."

"Why? You knew I was doing you a favor. Why are you so adamant of breaking us up? For once why can you allow me to be happy?" Ember paced in front of him and folded her arms.

"Roman isn't the right man for you. I am and I love you dearly."

Ember sat on the floor. "You gotta be fucking kidding me. You had me back then and you fucked it up over a blow job. Now you realize that I was amazing and you'll never find another one like me so you're back."

"You're only dating him cause you like fancy shoes and purses. You like dating the top guy."

Ember was upset. "This has nothing to do with stuff. I've moved on with my life and I want you to do the same."

"Can we be friends then ?" He sat next to Ember.

"No, it's not healthy. You constantly texting me you want to see me."

"It worked since you're here."

"Only because I got into an argument with him."

Finn's eyes widened. "Over what ?"

"You.. Most of the arguments are over you. He doesn't like you texting me or being around you."

"What is he trying to control you?" He said with a confused look.

"He's not.. He's just a certain way. I don't mind it but sometimes his jealously is over the top."

"Are you gonna marry this guy?"

"I don't know. My career just started here in WWE, so I'm not sure."

"Thank you for letting me see you tonight. I'm gonna leave. Be careful okay." Finn touched her shoulder.

Next Monday on Raw...

Ember walked up to Sasha to talk to her about their match. "Sasha.."

"Yeah?" Sasha answered surprised.

"Look.. I know we've had our differences over these stupid men. But, I want to let all of that goes so it doesn't ruin our feud. We used to be best friends and I'm sorry for all of the rude things I said." Ember stuck her hand out.

"I accept your apology. I know that it was fucked up and that night I showed up to the bar with Roman he just wanted to get back at you. Nothing happened." Sasha shook Ember's hand.

Ember smiled and gave her a hug. They walked and talked about their match.

Ember felt good to let everything go and forgive Sasha. But now she was preparing for her match.

The two women got into the ring and locked up. The match lasted for fifteen minutes.

Ember was surprised Sasha was giving her a run for her money. Then Sasha hit her the bank statement and Ember tapped out.

Sasha's arm was raised in victory and Ember looked up at her. She wasn't upset but it felt good to put on a good match with Sasha.

Ember went backstage and went into the locker room. She sat with the women backstage and talked. She grabbed her things out of the locker and was gonna head out early.

"Ember.." She heard a familiar voice call out to her. She turned around to see Roman standing there with flowers.

"Thank you." She grabbed the flowers and continued to walk out.

"I'm sorry I didn't trust you." Roman said stopping her. "I shouldn't have let you leave that night. The whole mood was killed. I love you and I don't care about some stupid storyline. I want to be with you." Roman admitted.

Ember placed flowers on her suitcase. "I was wrong for texting him back. I can't wait for this to be over."

Finn Balor charged into Roman causing him to fall down. Ember was able to move quickly.

A camera was present and Ember knew that this attack was for the storyline. Ember yelled "Get off of him Balor." Finn punched and kicked Roman when he was down. A referee had to pull him away.

Finn got close to Ember breathing hard and towered over her. He gave her a smile and kissed her. Ember pulled away and slapped him.

Finn walked off and the scene was over. Roman got up and said "Are you ready to go?"

"So are we gonna talk about that ? Why didn't y'all tell me about the scene."

"I don't know it seems more real when you don't expect it." Roman brushed the dirt off his clothes.

Ember couldn't believe that her real life was a damn storyline. Anything to make money right ? "Whatever. You know he kissed me."

"Yeah that was apart of the scene. Trust me if it was up to me I wouldn't have allowed it. It's so no biggie tho. I sat down with him today and we talked everything out. He told me that he just wants to be your friend."

Ember gave him a strange look. What the hell happened in two days? She was glad she let go her feud with Sasha.

She forgot her water bottle in the locker room. "I'll be back."

She was walking and that's when she saw Finn in the corner with someone talking. "Thanks for coming to my show tonight. You ready to go to my hotel?"

"Yes boo." Cameron said. She couldn't believe that Cameron would want to mess with her ex, but then again she isn't surprised.
