Reign On Me (Ember Moon x Roman Reigns)

Chapter 9

"Finn! Why are you at NXT? And what did you say that to Hunter?" She asked, with her hands folded. Her blood was boiling and this was going to create more issues for her.

"Well, I know how much you wanted to be on the main roster, so I talked to Hunter about it and he agreed with me." Finn grinned, looking at her up and down.

For a moment, she stared at her ex. He was still fine as hell with his beautiful blue eyes, and his heavy accent. His body still amazing. They had so much in common. She missed building houses and ships using legos.  She snapped out of her thoughts. "But, I can't have my relationship with Roman anymore. Do you have anything to do with that?"

Finn looked around and moved closer to her. "Absolutely no. I wouldn't stoop that low. I know you're just with Roman because of the whole persona. You can't possibly have anything in common with him."

"You don't know shit Balor. Why do you keep popping up?"

"I still have hope for us and so does my parents. Look, I need a favor. Can I crash on your couch tonight? My flight doesn't leave until tomorrow night. I have nowhere else to go."

Ember rolled her eyes. There wasn't anyway he could stay with her. "Nah. My boyfriend wouldn't  like that."

"He's going to be your ex soon. Come on, I won't touch you."

"Fine." She said leaving the arena. She left Finn behind because she didn't want to be seen with him. When she arrived to her place, he was already there waiting on the steps.

She walked past him and put the key in the door. She opened the door and placed her gym bag on the floor. She started to undress and walk back into her bathroom. She turned the shower on and hopped in. She was lost in her thoughts in the shower.

"Ember, can I have your leftovers?" Finn yelled.

"Yeah, go ahead." Ember said. She had to make sure he knew that they were not going to back where they were before. They had always been super comfortable around each other.

He came in the bathroom and used it. "Did you want to watch This is Us? I have only seen the first episode. Have you watched it yet?"

"I just saw the first episode too. We can watch it when I get out. Hand me my towel please." Ember asked.

Finn did as she said. She wrapped the towel around herself and stepped out. Finn was still in the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" Ember asked.

"Waiting for you. Do you need me to dry off your back?"

"No.. eh I'm fine. Just go in the living room. I need some privacy."

"Alright cool."

Ember watched him leave and dried off. She quickly got dressed. She put on black leggings and a tank top without a bra. She threw her hair in a messy bun on top of our head. She walked out in the living room and he said, "Did you see the video of me at the live event?"

"Yeah, it was awesome. I know the fans went crazy. I marked out when I saw it because I didn't know you were coming back so soon."

"Well now that you are going to be on the main roster, you would be able to know more that's going on with me. I miss training with you."

Ember sat on her couch and said, "Its crazy right. We used to do everything together. But, things changed ya know."

"So, are you really going to end it with Roman?"

"I will have too. My contract depends on it. Its going to be hard, but I guess that's what I have to do."

Ember had a sense of familiarity with Finn, he was so charming without even trying to be. He knew everything about her. Stuff that she didn't tell Roman yet. He also knew her struggle of being in the indies for so long.
