-Andy's POV-

We were on our way to Australia. The anxiousness seeping through my pores, the excitement all around, all of it, bundled into
one thought.

What if they don't like us?

Clearly, Audrey noticed my uneasiness as she lightly squeezed my thigh.

"It's all going to be okay. I'm sure whoever these guys are will be happy to meet us, and we will feel the same about them." She finished with a slight grin.

I knew she was nervous, but for the sake of me, she held it in. Here we all were, Audrey, Maddy, Addie, our mothers, except for Addie's. We were on a plane that might so happen to take us to a place that could change our lives, and with that, we all stayed silent for the first few hours.
//
Night fell, and none of us could sleep, except for our mothers. While they were passed out, we all looked down towards our phones, texting each other to avoid waking what seemed to be the entire plane.

From: Maddy The Curly Eyed Oboe😩
Do you realize that they might be older, younger, male, or female? We know nothing about them.

I replied with a simple "I realize."

From: The Guitarist That Thinks She Is Hot😨
You okay over there? You look worried. It's gonna be alright. Don't be such a whore. 😘

Good 'ol Addie, always lighting the mood. I replied: Shut up, the question is why aren't you worried?

Audrey and I refrained from texting each other, due to our close proximity, but she did tell me she was going to sleep, and that I should too. Addie and Maddy both fell asleep minutes after I replied, and they were both clearly too tired to respond back to my answers, oh well. One's curly locks resting nicely on the chair, and the other's ombré dyed tips up in a bun made me realize just how ugly I am compared to my band mates. Audrey told me goodnight, and fell into a deep slumber, but I stayed awake thinking.

They don't really need a bassist.

They don't really want you.

They just want the rest of your band, you're so replaceable.

I thought about these things until daybreak, the voices not budging from my head. I had been up for over twenty four hours, and really could not bear staying awake any longer, so at 6am, I decided to doze off. The only problem was, I wouldn't sleep for very long.

A/N: I hope some of you can get into the story. Thank you for the reads I received, and for the comments and votes, keep them coming! I promise it will be much more intriguing once they come in contact with what they call the "Mysterious Band." Remember, any suggestions, questions, or grammatical errors are accepted with open arms, so just comment them on the chapter.

Q: Why not Addie's mom?
A: I will explain later on, she and Addie don't exactly have a great relationship, since she had her extremely young. (Not hating on young moms.)
