She walked around the light as if they were puddles of yellow water that flooded the streets. Her steps skipped with the ethereal breeze and her dress tickled her ankles as she pranced to an unheard melody.
Her hair shimmered in the soft darkness that hugged her tiny body.

She grasped at an emotion that lingered at the edges of her conscience. Perhaps it was ecstasy...

Her steps synced with her heartbeat And she wondered if the light could drown her. She wanted to touch it. The light. The light was beautiful.

Her bare feet were so gentle. She felt like the Earth was thanking her. For dancing. For existing.

She slipped and fell.
