(RECAP)
I leaned on my left, where Stephen was sitting, still looking at our parents, in a really and still surprised mode, "Hey, What's the number of the mental hospital again?" I asked.
...........................................
I can feel Stephen staring at me weirdly, "That was a joke, Leah!"
"How about the mental institution?" I asked again. Surely, he knows the number cuz I wanna die. RIGHT. NOW!!
"Leah, Our parents aren't that crazy..." He told me, dying to laugh with all his might. Crazy? .. Heh, Look at them.. Our Mums are dancing like a hooompa-loompas that got people in the restaurants stared at them like, they are really so weird and ALSO! Our Dads are singing like a bunch of drunken ol' men, and got the guests sniggering like idiots!... I'M THE ONE WHO'S GOING CRAZY!!
"No.. I think I'm gonna go mental.." I said gently, putting my back hand over my forehead and laid my back on the chair as if I'm fainting. Then, our Dads began to sing louder as our moms danced around like they are in heaven ballroom or somewhere in their dreamland:
~ Our babies are all grown up
Boohoo~ Hoo-Hoo~ I can feel
my hair turn white~
I can feel myself growing ol'
till I no longer walk~
"I CAN make you NOT walk so that you won't even FEEL it-" I glared at them, pulling my sleeves up, leaning at them, "If you don't stop EMBARRASSING us!!"
They suddenly stopped singing, putting their glass of wine down as our moms quickly sat down like good girls and our dads sat up straight. I noticed Auntie leaning to Dad over Mum as she whispered, "Oh, look, you pissed your kid off."
Mum whispered along, "Honey, it's all your fault for singing that stupid song!~"
"Who was the one dancing like a drunken ballets (?)" dad said makes it a nice comeback as my conscience laughed her head off. Our moms dropped their jaws as uncle snickered 'secretly'
Stephen coughed to cover his laugh and I am still glaring at our parents, "I take it you lovin' it, Ste.." my eyes never left them.
"What?~" trying to cover his guilt, "Shouldn't you be happy that our parents aren't as mad as you'd think they are(?)"
