Chapter II:
Romance Shromance

I sat at my desk, twirling the pencil in my fingers.
Why does everything have to have romance in it? Why can't everything be Science Fiction? Well, I guess even sci-fi has romance. Dammit, Doctor Who!
I puffed out a breath and put my pencil down. The story was called Timely Love. What can I write about time travel and love if it isn't Who?
"Urgh!" I groaned. I stood up and walked over to my laptop. I typed in 'Tumblr'. I clicked the first result and I was already logged in. I scrolled through my personal dashboard.
Cats, fanart, hipster photos, hipster quotes, hilarious puns, occasional dirty pickup line. The usual Tumblr dash.
"I need inspiration!" I yelled out. I spun around for a while before I collapsed on the couch from dizziness. My phone beeped and I checked it.
Message from Ali
Alicia Mathews is my boss, she gets me into VIP parties and all that fun stuff.
I opened it up to see what she had sent me.
It read: PARTY! Tomorrow at 8:30 PM.
I groaned. I'm too busy writing to go. But, if I go, I can see couples and it'd give me ideas. For the book!
I called Piper and asked her if she can come dress shopping with me. She agreed almost instantly.
"Come to my penthouse and we'll go to the mall from here, okay?" I said.
"Okay."
My inner fangirl giggled at the reference to The Fault in Our Stars. I put on my dark brown leather oxfords and brushed my hair into a small fishtail braid.
Minutes later, I heard a ding. The elevator. Piper was standing there, smiling as she always was.
"Hold on, let me get my bag from upstairs!" I said, going up the staircase.
"Alright!"
I walked over to my bed where my bag was laying on. I grabbed it and stuffed my phone, Chapstick, keys, and some lady items.
I threw the strap over my shoulder and adjusted it. I ran down the stairs and saw Piper gazing around.
"Let's go Reed!"

Shopping! Oh my gosh, three chapters every week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. If I don't update, I'm busy, I have a migraine, or I am lazy.
But later, beauties!
