SHORT CHAPTER, EXTREMELY SHORT.
Chapter VI:
Party Time
Porter Tate ✕
I held onto the hand of my gorgeous girlfriend. Posing occasionally for the cameras was tiring. Looking to different cameras and trying not to blink as the lights flash.
We headed inside the venue, decorated with round tables and large chandeliers. People sat with glasses of red wine and champagne.
We walked over to the table that had our names and where our table was.
Melanie Harris & Porter Tate, Table 12
We walked hand in hand to the table marked 12.
I slid the chair out for Melanie. "Why thank you, kind sir?" She joked. "No problemo, m'lady." I tried not to laughing, but we both exploded into laughter.
We both sat and a waiter came over.
"Champagne or red wine?"
"Uh, what do you want, babe?" I asked Melanie, even though I knew she wants red wine.
"Oh, red wine." Told you.
"Great choice." The waiter smiled and poured the blood red drink in our glasses.
"Salut!" We both said, clinking our glasses together.
